> 3 dayThis laptop is great for gaming. It is a hefty laptop but it’s not meant for travel as much as gaming. It also has a somewhat short battery life. But it’s running some powerful games. Just plug in. It’s easy to upgrade the HD and add more DDR 4 RAM. And does not void the warranty. Mine now has an additional 480 GB SSD and 16 GB of RAM total. 16 gigs of ram in two sticks of 8 allows dual channel RAM which helps a lot. I set the default app installation folder in Windows 10 to the addl SSD drive letter and that’s where new installs go. It boots in less than 10 seconds. Seems sturdy. And the RGB keyboard is fun.

> 3 dayOut of the box this thing was okay. After adding another 8GB stick of RAM and a 1tb SSD it screams pretty good now. The only issue I have with it and I am not sure if it is a Windows problem is that when it returns from sleep it takes a while to reconnect to the Wi-Fi even though I have it set in the settings to never allow it to go to sleep. The screen is absolutely beautiful and so is the keyboard but within a couple weeks Im owning it the LEDs for the spacebar no longer light up, not a huge deal as Im not that into RGB and have kept it off lately but still something thats rated for 2 million keystrokes I figured the lights would last a bit longer. Performance-wise I get a good 58 FPS on high settings with Shadow of the Tomb Raider.

> 3 dayThe Asus comes minus a few apps you NEED like the one that controls the LED keyboard controller. I have an amplified system I put the sound through, the quality was not good. Asus did an update which was a big improvement. However, Realtek equalizer saved the day. I dont use headphones.

> 3 dayI have bought this computer on a different account. The build quality is terrible and the keyboard flexes when you type on the keyboard. The trackpad is also bad it just stops working. Also it only has 256 gigs of storage, which is not enough in 2020. Barely lasted me 5 months also the shipping got delayed 3 times. The battery life is only one hour when going on any browser (Chrome, edge, firefox, opera ect...) Thumbs down for ASUS this time.

> 3 dayPurchased this laptop after my high end Alienware burned out around a year ago. Needed a quick and cheap replacement in a hurry for school and found it on sale for $650. I dont regret it one bit.

> 3 dayThis computer crashes at least once every day with a fatal blue screen of death and we have only had it about a month. When it works, it works fine, but the crashes make it completely unreliable. It will be returned.
