Second day of the SECOND computer. Returned the first computer (Lenovo) due to set-up issues. THIS one has problems with freezes and a disappearing curser. Im down 1600 bucks and still no computer working.

Microsoft 365 is junk. The software is like going backwards. Been using Windows 7 with Office 2010. Soooo many features were far better on the old software. The laptop itself does not have the greatest keyboard. Keep having to retype words. It is annoying to have Mcafee keep popping up ads for their services.

I was excited to get this computer on Prime Day. I got a great deal and thought it was well worth the price. I read a lot of reviews and that all seemed great. When I got the computer and turn it on there was nothing - just a blank screen. I did a hard reset, but still nothing. I hooked up an external monitor and found that the computer was on and set at the initial get-started screen. When I clicked Enter, to see if it was operational, nothing!

No problems with charging, etc. But the desktop screen is renewing itself even though no refresh is intended.

I searched the internet before buying if this laptop has a second slot to expand the storage. I even found videos on youtube of the S533, but this version, which is that the S533 does not have the second port. I do not know why. Im very disappointed. See the photo.

I held out a long time before landing on this laptop--kept bouncing between HP and Dell models until this showed up quite unexpectedly and then got snatched up quickly. I jumped on it at a very attractive price for the infrastructure I wanted that this had: latest I7 chip, 16 GB RAM, 512 SSD. Plus I wanted as many USB ports as possible along with a Thunderbolt port; never could find an HP (my previous laptops brand) or Dell with the right mix. A really nice plus is the function key that can deactivate the touch pad--I use a mouse and sometimes accidentally hitting the touch pad can be a problem. Finally, I liked the Indie Black color. Im not a gamer so cant comment on how this model handles those requirements.

Thin computer, works fast, there is a problem with exiting sleep mode, the computer does not wake up and need to be turned off by force and restarted, a problem that could not be solved

    Summary: Great computer, great value.

ASUS VivoBook, a perennial favorite, is getting a new, bolder look that’s sure to get pulses racing. The slim and lightweight VivoBook S15 now features an 11th Generation Intel Processor, diamond-cut edges and a textured finish, and is available in four distinct colors that have been chosen to reflect your personality. The positive vibes continue when you open the lid, where you’re greeted by an Enter key with color-blocking edges. VivoBook S15 brings out the true you, both inside and out. *The actual transfer speed of USB 3.0, 3.1, 3.2 (Gen 1 and 2), and/or Type-C will vary depending on many factors including the processing speed of the host device, file attributes and other factors related to system configuration and your operating environment.
