I bought this on the recommendation of my mother (who was recommended this by a vet). My new dog had a few small abrasions on his chin and front leg after jumping out the car window. Once the wounds scabbed over, this really helped keep the skin moist and heal up nicely, especially after he was licking the one on his leg into a hot spot. He had no adverse effects using it, even when he inevitably licked it off several times (no sickness coming out of either end). A little bit goes a long way, and Id recommend for both human and pet use on very dry or cracking skin. Hes all healed now, and fur has covered both spots completely.

A friend highly recommended this product and Im so glad I listened to her! I was hoping it would help with my dry cuticles and it does, better than so called cuticle oil. I use it all over my hands and on my face, too, for laugh lines and lip lines. Definitely softens any area of skin it touches.

I purchased a 4oz can. It comes just as it looks. I was happy with the packaging. I also have used it everyday since I got it (3 days now) and it is helping my skin on my feet and hands. I recommend it for those people who are washing continuously and finding their hands are chapped from doing so. It is thicker then Vasoline. I gave it 4 stars only because it doesnt have the best smell, but worth the buy.

Ive had chronic chapped lips my whole life. I put this on every night before bed on my lips and I no longer have chapped lips, Im honestly amazed. Ive used Vaseline, Carmex, Burts bees, but this is the only product that has worked. Knocked one star off for the smell, not great.

This balm is great for the dry, chapped, cracking skin on my hands that comes from cold, dry air. The smell really isnt so bad--think camphor. This balm is more like a coating/barrier and will not fully absorb into the skin, so there is a bit of a greasy film to be mindful of, kind of like petroleum jelly.

YOU CANT RETURN IT. I have very dry lips but this is thin and doesn’t help the chapped and dry lips I have. I’ve used other far better options and thought I’d try something new but this was a waste and now I’m stuck with it.
