My 18 month old plays the songs over and over. Also, he is quite the book biter and this thing has survived very well. My friend from China saw them at my house and loved them so much I gave the set to her kids as a gift.

Wow, this is a great Mandarin sing along book for English speaking children. I like the fact that each song is repeated. My granddaughter fell in love with this song book immediately.

The music stop working already, not worth the money

We have the first book and knew we had to have the second one when it came out. My son is now 5 months and we just introduced the second book. This book has children’s songs so movement friendly. He enjoys the pictures and the songs just as much as the first book. The only thing is the volume on this book is lower than the first book so we have it on the loudest setting and it’s still a bit dim. I highly recommend this book for bilingual families.

Our baby has been enjoying this book since 6mo and still loves it at 16mo. As a bilingual household, we were eager to find ways for our baby to be exposed to mandarin. This book was a great solution to that. Our baby loved to flip the sturdy pages and listen to the music. And now that shes older, she proactively goes to grab the book and pushes the music buttons on herself. We have both mandarin Bao Bao books and gift this to friends.

My one year old is obsessed with the Bao Bao books. She loves the songs ! She did need to learn how to press harder since you have to press quite hard for the songs to play but other than that, it’s perfect !

This is great to introduce my child with new and exciting songs!

We own both the red and blue versions from this author. It really seems like a lot of careful consideration was put into the creation of these books. Both books are well made and I appreciate the attention to detail in having 2 volume settings. I also really like the songs included in each book. Because my son is already familiar with the Western songs, I think it made it more approachable to try to learn familiar songs in Mandarin Chinese. The words are printed in a few different ways to make it easy for someone to follow and sing along. I will most likely be purchasing this book to gift to family and friends with small children in the future.

Our daughter loves these books and it’s really easy to follow for the parents!

We received this book as a drawing prize from the author. My kids love it. My 7 year old is a 1st grade mandarin immersion student and was very familiar with all of the songs. My other two kids (3 and 5) have not started their mandarin educations yet but they were familiar with the most of the music and after about 10 minutes of listening, my 3 year old started singing along...in Mandarin! Kids are sponges at these ages so any new language exposure is amazing!!!! We are so happy to add this book to our library.
