Excellent book for people that don’t even speak chinese. The book has chinese, pinyin, and English and it’s wonderful.

My baby loves these books and of the Chinese sing along books available on the market (we have almost all of them at this point) bao bao are her favorite.

This was an automatic buy for us after we all loved the first one so much and it hasnt disappointed! Love the mix of traditional Western and Chinese childrens songs, which is helpful for a bilingual family where some caregivers only speak English but can still sing along and not feel left out. The translations to Chinese lyrics are quite well done, too. Best of all, the volume is manageable and the singing is good music, so much better than your typical annoying noise-making kids toy. Its only been a day since I introduced it and my almost 3 year old son (normally a bit more hesitant to speak Chinese than English) is already picking up some of these songs to sing in Chinese.

My kids love songs and this book is a delight for them. Both my kids - age 3 and 6 - love this book.

My son adores this one just as much as he loves the first bao bao book we got him. He gets really excited to push the buttons and listen to the whole song before moving on to the next. He favors if youre happy and you know it from this book. So impressed from both of these books.

We loved the first book so much that in my review of it, I wished for a sequel. Well, my (and my kids’) wish came true! Many other reviews cover the features in detail but the main appeal for both sets is that my kids can learn Chinese more easily without using the ipad/youtube and be distracted by other videos. I love the pinyin, since Mandarin is not my native language. We loved this so much that we even bought another set of both books for a close friend’s preschooler as a birthday gift.

Totally worth the price! We have both books in the series and my kids love listening to the songs over and over. The buttons are easy enough to press that my 1 year old can do it on her own, and the songs are a good duration, not too long and not too short. I love that there’s a mix of popular English and Chinese songs. So now when my kids start to sing “I’m a Little Teapot” in English, we can sing it through once in English and once in Chinese. They love dancing to the “If You’re Happy and You Know It” song also. We mostly keep the books in the car and it’s kept them entertained for countless car rides.

We love this book! My daughter is five and have the first book and we were so excited to get the second one. It’s a great mix of songs and she loves listening to them. The illustrations are adorable and the music is natural sounding. Would make an excellent gift!
