> 3 dayWe never even opened this fan. When it arrived, there was a strong chemical fragrance smell coming from the Amazon box. After opening the box, it was clear the fragrance was coming from the inner box the fan was packaged in. It was like it got dropped in a vat of the most intense chemical perfume youve ever smelled. We returned it immediately. My wife is very sensitive to fragrances, and this was overpowering. A shame, since it seems like it would have been a great fan otherwise. UPDATE: We re-ordered this fan after returning the stinky one and the new one was fragrance-free, thankfully. Its a great fan so Im updating our review to 4 stars. It was a hassle having to return the stinky fan, but its possible it wasnt the sellers problem and happened while in transit from Amazon.

Greater than one weekUsing this to clip on outside little screened window on chicken hen house. Powered off 24/7 usb plug to keep air moving inside and on them at night. Hardly uses battery but should power fail they will have it running at least a few hours. Gets dirty constantly I just hose it off let it dry and plug it back in keeps on going! First one lasted a year in this condition which IMO is pretty good for the cost.

> 3 dayWe used two of these fans for our twin babies at the zoo to keep them cool. We ran them on the lowest setting for four hours or more. They ran great and did a great job providing enough of a breeze to keep the babies cool and kept the mosquitos off of them too. We then used them for a couple of outings to keep the bugs off, also on the lowest setting before we had to charge them. So we probably ran them for about six hours on the lowest setting which is true to other reviews and the product description. The lowest setting produced a low hum that was audible but not obnoxious. At higher settings it was more obvious but all fans make some kind of noise so I wasn’t surprised. It’s obviously as portable as it can be, we were pleased with it. I only give things 5 stars if they go above and beyond my expectations. This fan does a great job for what a portable fan needs to do with a seemingly decent battery life. I haven’t really used it much beyond about 6 hours of use so I can’t vouch for its longevity or the battery’s longevity. But at least you can get extra batteries off amazon!

> 3 dayI work at a beach bar and I use this fan on my break while sitting in my car. It doesn’t even last an hour on a full night of charge.

> 3 dayThis fan is great! The battery life is better than I expected, and I was worried about it being a rechargeable battery. It has been so easy to plug in to our van or charge it at the front door so I dont forget to leave home without it. I live in hot and humid SC and this is a necessity with my now 4mo son! I have clipped this onto the stroller, the babys car seat handle, a lounge chair at the pool, and even clipped it onto one of the straps of my baby carrier while wearing my son at a baseball game. This fan is so adjustable and the clip is very strong. I also love that the fan has varying speeds. I also have a 2.5 yo daughter and she has not had a problem with it. I was afraid that she might try to stick her fingers inside and get hurt, so initially I thought about purchasing a foam blade fan, but this hasnt been a problem. The only con I have is I wish I had bought this sooner to use with my 2.5 yo. Seriously! We have a fan with the water mist and that works fine, it was almost the same price at target as this one is on Amazon, but it doesnt have all the great features of this fan.

> 3 dayThis a great little fan for traveling, especially with pets/horses. I bought these for my horse trailer as we have had an exceptionally hot summer. I like the versatility of it, and adjustable fan speed. The battery only lasts a couple of hours on full speed so I swap out for the charged fan while the other fan charges.

> 3 dayThis is my new best friend. I love that it is wireless, the clamp is big so it attaches almost anywhere. The fan rotates is so many directions. It is super easy to use and is great for anyone suffering from hot flashes. It flicks on quickly, has many speeds and is quiet. However, I do love the white noise that eases me to sleep. My only downside is that it needs to be charged every day if I use it for the full night. THat is a small price to pay. I LOVE THIS FAN!

> 3 dayUpdate 3/1/20: Company finally got back to me and said they were at Spring Festival from Jan 22 - Feb 17 and couldn’t respond. They apologized profusely and said they wanted to make it right and offered to send me another fan or give me a refund. I opted for another fan since I loved it when it still worked and hopefully this new one will last longer than the previous one. I appreciate the company reaching out to make this right so I changed my review from 1 star to 3 stars. I will update again if it survives a year. I loved this fan when I first got it. I’m an RN and I get really hot running around so I needed something portable that I could move around with me. This worked great until it didn’t. Battery would no longer hold a charge after 4 months of use so I bought new batteries (which cost almost as much as the fan) and it still wouldn’t work so it’s a fan issue, not a battery issue. I was sent an email from the manufacturer when I originally bought the item asking me to let them know if there are any issues and that there is a warranty on the item, but did not say what the warranty terms are. I’ve reached out to them twice, but after 2 weeks, I have yet to hear back from them. I do not recommend this fan due to the extremely poor customer service. I will be looking for another fan elsewhere.

> 3 dayI have purchased many battery operated fans. This is far and away the BEST product in the bunch. I live in an entirely 12 volt, solar bus conversion. I need these fans to circulate heat down from the ceiling and away from my heating source. They clip on and stay put. I clip them into the bus hatch and they serve as a ceiling fan. Also, they rotate fully in every imaginable position. No rotating fan Ive bought does this. They come with a rechargeable lithium ion battery! So no more purchasing triple As or cycling through rechargeables that generally have to be recharged with 110. Now, you can easily recharge these with standard 110 just like you do your phone but I only have 12 volt. Get THIS, the fan has speed control! Turn the dial on and the more you turn it up, the higher the speed. On the lowest setting, the fans will run for approximately 10 to 12 hours on a charge. So for me, they will run through the night keeping the warm air circulating while I sleep. In the morning, I recharge them. One drawback, the little red LED that says its charging doesnt turn green for instance to let you know it is charged so you have to guess. I charged them for 5 or 6 hours and they were ready to go again. There was no visible drop on my solar battery voltage after charging them. 13.7 volts at start and finish so they must not use much power to charge (I have 3 of them). Im buying 3 more so I can have a set running and a set charging. Im so flipping happy.

> 3 dayInitial impressions are positive. Purchased this mini fan to improve ventilation and move air around the inside of a micro-cruiser sailboat cabin. Seems to have adequate airflow for that purpose. Chose this model over others due to design. Variable speed, not just low, med and high. Clip or table top base use. 18650 lipo battery. Fan is relatively quiet. Basically just air movement noise. Gimbal mount allows flexible positioning of air flow in every direction. Clamp is padded with a closed cell foam like material. Clamp allows for ~3/4” thick surface. Pushing it to ~1” is possible. Grip is still positive due to the foam. Powered through the micro-USB charging plug with a 12.5 watt solar panel. Controller limits set at 5V, max 2.1A. Only weird thing was the fan had only one speed. Full on. Powered with the same solar set up with the battery installed allowed variable speed. The battery compartment only allows use of flat top 18650 lipos. Too short for protected batteries. 18650 of choice are KeepPower 3500mAh protected (aka button top) lipos. Used in everything else that accepts 18650. Not sure if the built in charger has a quality battery management system. Unprotected lipo, bad battery charge control can result in a dangerous event. Supposedly the unit will shut down if battery voltage drops below 3.2V under load. If so, little risk to damaging battery during use. Maximum discharge rate is low (<1C)for this fan. Little risk to all but real junky Lipos. Will use “smart” charger vs. the fan’s charger. 4*s for now. If the fan lasts at least one season of use it’s a 5* unit.
