> 3 dayInitial impressions are positive. Purchased this mini fan to improve ventilation and move air around the inside of a micro-cruiser sailboat cabin. Seems to have adequate airflow for that purpose. Chose this model over others due to design. Variable speed, not just low, med and high. Clip or table top base use. 18650 lipo battery. Fan is relatively quiet. Basically just air movement noise. Gimbal mount allows flexible positioning of air flow in every direction. Clamp is padded with a closed cell foam like material. Clamp allows for ~3/4” thick surface. Pushing it to ~1” is possible. Grip is still positive due to the foam. Powered through the micro-USB charging plug with a 12.5 watt solar panel. Controller limits set at 5V, max 2.1A. Only weird thing was the fan had only one speed. Full on. Powered with the same solar set up with the battery installed allowed variable speed. The battery compartment only allows use of flat top 18650 lipos. Too short for protected batteries. 18650 of choice are KeepPower 3500mAh protected (aka button top) lipos. Used in everything else that accepts 18650. Not sure if the built in charger has a quality battery management system. Unprotected lipo, bad battery charge control can result in a dangerous event. Supposedly the unit will shut down if battery voltage drops below 3.2V under load. If so, little risk to damaging battery during use. Maximum discharge rate is low (<1C)for this fan. Little risk to all but real junky Lipos. Will use “smart” charger vs. the fan’s charger. 4*s for now. If the fan lasts at least one season of use it’s a 5* unit.

> 3 dayThis is how it arrived. No visible damage, but one of the side caps for the clip was detached. Meaning it most likely will detach sooner than later. Also, the center cap for the fan itself is missing. I looked inside the bag and the box... nowhere to be found. Will be updating this review in a couple of weeks/months after I have put some hours of use on it.

> 3 dayI bought this fan for a stroller for my special needs kid who is often stuck in her seat during outings because she cant walk. Im in SE VA and even spring and fall are hot and this fan has been great. Its so easy to clip this to her strollers umbrella and position it right on her (it swivels and also moves up/down and it holds its position). There is a dial for speed adjustment, , so its easy to set the speed to whatever you need. it has an indicator light when charging- red means its still charging and blue means fully charged. I try to remember to charge it overnight for a next-day outing, but sometimes I forget and only charge it for an hour or so. Im amazed how long it lasts even on high speed (which is really the only speed I use). The longest it lasted was over 4 hours on high speed (it didnt die) after an overnight charge. The only time it died was after I charged it (from dead) for an hour and a half and was on high speed. It lasted 2hrs that time. It should be noted this just comes with a USB cable and no wall plug. I was annoyed about that, but, thankfully, I have plenty of high speed plugs that Ive bought over the year for phones/tablets. Just consider that if you dont have any available/free, you will have to buy one. The cable seems to be capable of fast charge and does well especially plugged into a computer, but has similar charging capabilities with a high speed wall plug. Overall, I think this fan went above and beyond what I expected for the price. I honestly thought it would die quickly or lose a charge over time. But weve had it the entire summer (and its been a hot one) and its been used often and always at full speed and Ive seen no deterioration in performance.

> 3 dayI LOVE this fan! Like you, I was skeptical something this small could be such a powerhouse. It keeps things cool in the day and honestly it gets things a little chilly at night on low setting, so thats really dope. The clip is even wide enough for me to attach to the car handle. I wish it was a little softer on high, but its high so theres only so loud/soft it can be. My baby and I sleep sleep through it with no issue. UPDATE: I purchased this November 2019 and its now March 2020. I took one star off because when I turn it horizontally, it moves out of position, as if some part of it got loose. I cant seem to figure it out. I guess at least vertically works, but its very inconvenient for me because I use it daily. Its still a little loud on low, but it doesnt bother me anymore. Its kind of nice having the white noise. Its still giving a strong breeze and I find the battery actually lasts longer than they say.

> 3 dayI assumed this would be small, lightweight, convenient and not very powerful. It checks all those boxes. I use it in my Jeep to blow on my face while working or cooking, either for cooling or to drive away mosquitoes. It does the trick. It stands up on its own, swivels well, and the clip is sturdy and can attach well to flat objects an inch thick (have not tried it on a round object, such as a pipe). The breeze it generates on high (youll probably always use it on high) is about what youd expect from a plastic fan whose blades are just 3-4 inches in diameter. But its easy to store and handy to move around and situate on a flat surface or clip to something. Holds a charge for at least 4 hours on high (have not tested beyond that, but the advertised life means Ill be recharging daily when in use, I suspect). Ill be testing it out camping and prolly might prefer something bigger and more powerful, but for the price, Im happy with it.

14-12-2024Theyre pretty much isnt anything I dont like about this little fan. Its powerful for such a small thing. You can clip it or just set it on a surface. I use it in my daily Zoom meetings when I get warm. I use it in the kitchen when Im cooking and its hot. I keep it by the bedside in case I get a little hot flash. Ive given it as a gift to many women I know. If you have a need to be spot cooled down quickly... run dont walk to your cart.

> 3 dayWe have had this fan for a year and it works like a champ. It was purchased for our trailer as one sleeping area is a little stuffy. The fan has a strong clip and swivels nicely to wherever you want to aim it. We tend to leave it plugged into the usb but it has never given us problems when we use the battery. Our family sleeps with fans on and this is not your average desk fan. It does have some velocity and a little more noise. It is great for some white noise but maybe not for you if easily bothered by fan noise.
