Greater than one weekI got some of these to go with a metal extruder for my Ender 3. Theyre probably strong enough to drag a refrigerator down a hallway. Get some. Throw your brass in the trash.

> 3 dayGood gear, ID is 5.04mm, OD is 10.95mm. Seems to be really good quality and will last a long time extruding pla and petg.

> 3 dayI got this as an upgrade to my CR-10S, which seems to work a lot better than the factory brass one. After installation all you have to do is calibrate your E-Steps, which I used a video by SanTube 3D off YouTube to explain the process. Afterwards I would suggest re-flashing the firmware with the new calculation of your E-Steps as some printers may vary, so you wont have to keep putting the E-Steps in every time when you turn off or restart your printer.

> 3 dayOn my Creality Ender 3 the brass stock gear rounded over and Im only printing in PLA. This solved my issue. I had to turn up my flow in Cura to 103% to get good extrusion.

> 3 dayI was hesitant at first because from the pictures they look like they only have a single grub screw. I took a chance because of the price. Was relieved when I found that they do have 2 grub screws. Easy to install on my Ender 3 v2 with upgraded aluminum extruder. I did have to readjust my esteps slightly, but thats 100% expected. Havent noticed any skips and seems to wear less than the brass one it came with.

13-04-2025Fixed my Maker select V2 with these, dont know if these match the factory gear as I dont think mine had a factory gear in it when it failed. But it matched whatever mine had. Only critique is that the gears seemed like they got banged around in transit so there were some light existing marked/gouges on them. I suspect its not an issue, I just used the one with the least and it worked great.
