10-04-2025Brass drive gear had worn out and was slipping. Filament would not feed. The steel gear made my extruder work again. I hope steel last longer than brass.

> 3 dayA vast improvement over my stock brass gears. If you are having extruder issues, this is well worth a try to fix the problem. Used on a stock Ender 3 extruder, and I had no need to change e-steps (checked before and after, same result). YMMV, but this fixed my under extrusion.

> 3 dayThese seem like they will hold up better than the brass. They have two set screws and were an exact replacement for what I had.

> 3 dayWas starting to have trouble with the extruder skipping. Replaced the stock brass gear with one of these and problem solved. Cant really speak to the durability as Ive just started a print with the new one, but the improvement in extrusion was immediate. For the money you really cant go wrong if youre not quite ready to upgrade the extruder.

> 3 dayBought these for a Dremel 3D45. As I type this Im sin the second hour of a 28 hour print and everything seems to be running very smoothly. Im hoping that these will stop the frequent jamming issues Ive been having. Ill update after some more serious print time.

> 3 dayI got some of these to go with a metal extruder for my Ender 3. Theyre probably strong enough to drag a refrigerator down a hallway. Get some. Throw your brass in the trash.
