BLACK+DECKER dustbuster 20V MAX* POWERCONNECT Cordless Handheld Vacuum (BCHV001C1)

It is one of the best handheld cordless vacuums on the market. I have a few. I added this machine to my other 20v tools in the B&D lineup. I now have six machines plus another three in the 40v line. These are all excellent and I have had some of them for fifteen years. This vacuum has a powerful suction. It is simple to use, to clean and to store in my garage on a hook attached to wall. 09-23-22. I downgraded this review because replacement filters do not seem to be available at either Amazon or at the Black and Decker website. Yet instruction says replace every six months of everyday use.

Are used to have the pivot, which I loved, but emptying it eventually the Broke off, so I tried this one after looking at many reviews and I’m glad I chose it because it is super strong if not stronger than the pivot it’s not pretty much the same but we cheaper if you have the battery already

I was waiting for Black and Decker to come up with a vacuum that would replace their 18volt. I like the replaceable batteries. This is lighter than their 18volt and does a great job of cleaning. Thank you Amazon for your gently used warehouse deals. I will always buy your used/new products. You do a good job of making sure they are in tip top condition.

Update: increase in replacement filter cost. Now Amazon has replacement filters - 2 for $50!! You can only wash these filters 5-6 times before they shred and need to be replaced. I don’t recommend this model.

I love the improved charging strategy— why have a rechargeable battery for every tool when you can buy ONE battery that can be used interchangeably with all of them! This is the kind of thinking companies should have been doing all along to reduce and simplify waste and recycling issues. I have to research what to do with my old built-in battery on Dustbuster that went kaput. If you don’t care about environmental factors, this is the most powerful (20V) handheld vacuum I’ve had, and it’s light and easy to use. I don’t like emptying any of them, but this is pretty easy, and it holds quite a bit.

It did-not come with battery, i bought battery and tried many ways its not working, while i was testing i missed return item and it is lying down useless

I liked the fact that it uses the same battery as all the rest of my Black and Decker 20v Max tools and you can buy larger capacity batteries to extend run time.

All around best portable vacuum money can buy. The best feature of this product is that you can use your other B&D batteries from other drills etc on this vacuum! Id highly recommend it if you own B&D products

The dust bowel will not stay attached to the main body. If you bump the dust bowel it will fall off. If you use force to attach the dust bowel, then the dust bowel release button will get stuck down and you will have to use a great deal of force to get it back up. Forget suctioning power, filters and battery life, the dust bowel release button makes the whole vacuum useless. I cant recommend this product. I wish I had never bought it.
