    As of 4/27/23, this arrived with only 2022 tax tables.

    I have a small business with one part-time employee to keep track of, needed the inventory, payroll and invoicing that comes with this. Can not afford to spend $$ each month on one of the big boys so bought this one to upgrade from my old Bookkeeper. The website said the latest included 2020 & 2021 tax tables. The box I bought does not say what version you have, you have to install it to find out what it is. The installation failed with transferring the old data & eventually I had to totally remove both programs and reinstall the new one & then laboriously rebuild all the 2020 information. When I started 2021 I found the tax tables were not here for that year, I would have to buy it. Since I bought it in March of 2021, I would think it would be there. Support says no, my version doesnt have the 2021 tax tables. This is the version that is not mentioned anywhere on the box. I can buy the tables for $30...which, since I paid $36 for this two months ago seems excessive...for one part time employee. Carrying on, I made out an invoice to a customer, who paid right away. The invoice is for $76.83, customer paid $76.83, Bookkeeper changed the invoice to $75.85 and gave the customer a $.98 credit. Where did this come from? I have checked & rechecked all the figures. Even paying from the original invoice it changes the figure when I try to enter payment. Still waiting to hear from Tech support...but trying to find a work around. If anyone knows of another bookkeeping system for small businesses that actually work and are not full of unpleasant surprises please let me know. And, by the way, the included HELP files are generally useless. If you are in a section working & in doubt, there is a HELP button, which does not take you to the topic you are on but to the beginning of the help and the introduction. The search is a joke & not a funny one at that.

    This software is easy to use for a small start up business. I use it mostly as a guide just keep certain transactions in one place but it is not my sole software. I think it is great to get you on your way.

    After 2 months I got a popup that I need to register so I did even though I had already done so when I installed the program. Now it will not let me open it because it said I am not registered.

    I am not impressed with this product. It helps to be a professional accountant so that you can understand the software works, but a professional accountant would never use this. The manual explains nothing about how the software works, but is rather a 200-page list of where the buttons are located. I am a small business owner providing service-based assets (not goods-based) and have had to use some of the features with my own definitions (my clients have to be listed as Companies). I bought this because my accounting needs are VERY simple. However, if you ever need to modify an invoice or a payment, you have to go through about eight different steps because the design of the software is not sophisticated enough to make the kinds of query associations that you could get from a simple Access database. Since tax withholding information was not included in the software, I purchased this from Avanquest for the same cost as the software itself. It doesnt work and the promised web instructions never appear. I may call Avanquest for help, though after reading other users reviews of their customer service, I may just eat the cost and save myself four hours of tech support agony.

    I have used this software for years. Both for my husbands towing company, then for my cab company. Yes, it does take a bit of work, but it is SO worth every penny. I have used Quickbooks and while it is fancy, it does not do very well for support. My favorite version is the 2009 version. I upgraded to 2012, but it went down in quality somewhat.

    IS Quickbook compatible with Peachtree software? I cannot afford the price on peachtree. I just bought a new computer & try to transfer my peachtree program over & it wont allow me. It was a old version of peachtree which Microsoft 10 cant accept it.

    Couldnt get to work on my laptop. I have Windows 10 which is not compatible with Bookkeeper. Plus it is for Business and not Personal like I thought it was. I also thought that I ordered a 2015 edison not a 2009.

    Just started, learning my way around seemed pretty straight forward, has help files built in. Its not complicated so most users should get around easily. Tech support is very alert.
