Overall, this is a great bag for travel... either as a carry-on, or a weekender bag. I double-checked with a couple of the discount airlines I often travel with, and the dimensions of this travel backpack are just below the maximum permissible size! If you dont over-stuff it, its guaranteed to fit in the overhead compartment, and- modestly-packed, will slide right under the seat. Surprisingly, the main compartment is practically cavernous! There is plenty of room to neatly pack enough clothing for a 3-day, weekend getaway! And the compartment even has straps- to keep your neatly folded clothing from becoming a wrinkled-up mess! But wait! Theres More! A second, full-length pocket sits atop the main compartment, and it includes two nesting bags for organizing smaller items. AND theres a half-sized zipper pocket, atop the second pocket! Plus, there are sewn-in pockets, within the pockets! (Now, you see why I mentioned being careful not to over-stuff the bag. *wink*) As if that werent enough... behind the main compartment is... (wait for it)... yet another, full-length compartment- nicely padded- for storing your laptop PC and documents. The manufacturer says you can get up to a 17-inch laptop in there... and you can! This amazing travel backpack sports handles on the long side, and on the top- to pick it up and carry, like an attache case. It also has a webbed pocket on the side, to carry your water bottle (an absolute given, for any decent backpack). Flip the backpack over, and you find the shoulder straps- which are padded (a little too lightly, for my tastes)- and feature a breathable material. The back of the bag, itself, is also padded at the upper and lower portions (but not in the middle?), featuring the same breathable materials- and includes a strap to allow you to slide the backpack over the pull handle of a larger, wheeled bag. The materials this backpack are made of, seem sturdy- and of good quality. Its nicely finished, and looks durable, The inner linings, and the padding, are equally nice. The zippers appear sturdy, the stitching around them is clean- no snag points, and the pull-tabs on all of the zippers are decently-sized... easy to grab. Another thing about those zipper pull-tabs: They have holes in them, allowing the use of a TSA-approved lock, to better secure your valuables. This is a well-thought out travel bag, one I think will be very useful. In fact, it offers enough storage space, that its probably going to be my go to bag, from now on.

This thing looks nice, and appears to be very well made. I like the fact that the zipper on the pouch for the laptop has a spot for you to put a lock on it to keep it a bit more secure. Overall I am happy with the backpack and would recommend it. I will update this review if there are any longevity issues with it.

I loved this bag. It distributed the weight evenly I was worried about it being heavy going through the airport it was not a problem. I even did some shopping while out of town and packed it to the max coming back and had no problem carrying it through the airport myself. It was very convenient. Fit in the overhead bin perfectly

This bag serves as a nice carryon option, the material kept its shape and husband was able to fit several articles of clothes and shoes on the plane.

Im one of those people that takes my laptop everywhere, so carrying multiple bags can be a pain. For travel, I can pack stuff for overnight in the secondary section without a problem. The packing cubes are a welcome bonus. During the week, I often workout in the AM, so I keep my work clothes packed in here along with my laptop. As just a laptop bag, its a bit bulky, but Ive smartly used the second section as a place to store the projector and the packing cubes for the cables.

This backpack turned out to be a bit bigger than I was expecting, and, as it turns out, Im here for it. I initially got this to replace a smaller backpack that had begun to fall apart. I wasnt expecting how big this was. Primarily I use the pack to bring me and my laptop to work and back, plus all the assorted things that go with it - mouse, cords, and so on. Once every couple of weeks I would bring some supplies in - coffee, creamer, snacks - and I was using a reusable grocery bag to do that, carrying that as well as my old backpack. After getting this new one, IO found that I didnt need to bring the extra bag, there was plenty of room in the backpack, and I dont feel like I am carrying extra weight with the larger pack when Im not bringing the extra stuff. Then my wife needed chemotherapy, so the pack needed to not only bring all the stuff I needed to work remotely, but also all of the things she needed or might need. And the extra cargo space became a necessity, and I was grateful it was there.

Its super easy to carry with two days to carry it, the travel packs are bigger than expected which I love and everything that usually fits in my suitcase fits in one backpack! Amazing!
