This bag is very well made. Very thick durable material and tons of space. Much better quality than I was expecting for the price. Very happy with this purchase!

Love the many pockets making the bag more secure than the bag it replaces. Also love the denim-like material which we expect to be extremely durable.

It has all the pockets that I was hoping for and more. Its a bit rugged (more of my bike bag, not to carry into a meeting) , but, for the price -- it is what I expected and more. It will be perfect for wearing on my back to work, bike with laptop and more. And, yes, it is canvas -- so, true to description!

The bottom buckle attaches with a magnet. Both came off in random places within about a week. I wish these were sewn on. It has a nice compartment for a laptop, but I wish it were more padded to protect the laptop. The style is very nice and attractive.

I bought this for my husband to take to work in his law office. He needs to carry books, a laptop or tablet, notes and notebooks, his phone, pens, etc. This bag certainly works for all of that. It does look worn, but that is described in the ad; vintage looking. I cant say whether this bag will hold up after months of use, but I expect that it will. It seems sturdy and well made.

I ordered this because I have class every week and it keeps me more organized and from fumbling my books, tablet and folders. Also it is a great for meeting with my clients as I am able to carry my brochures and information sheets from being wrinkled and unprofessional looking. Very handy separate pouch to keep drivers license, credit cards, pens/pencils and a few makeup items to freshen up before a meeting. The color is great as it is very versatile with any outfit.

One day I was riding my bike back home from work and I had my satchel with me like I always do. I came upon the street light and saw the cross walk turned green. I glanced, saw no cars, then proceeded to cross but a car that was not paying attention whipped a right turn and nailed me head on. I went flying off my bike and landed on top of my satchel in the street. I got hit so hard that my apple watch starting automatically counting down to call 911 but fortunately my satchel broke my fall and because I landed and skidded on top of it I only had a few cuts. I love this satchel and would recommend everyone get one. You never know when you will get hit by a car and need a satchel to break your fall and save your life.

It arrived FAST. It is nicer than picture. It says men or women; I am an older woman, but will be using it on a day trip to San Fran CA (purse, umbrella, water bottle- can fit way more). I think maybe leans more towards a man, but I will use it gladly. I ordered black but looks more like dark jeans. Its nice, worth the money. I felt a back- pack for an older woman looked silly, I have a very cute leopard print one, but I want to be stylish, so felt a messenger bag would look better and easier to get into. I chose this, because I was short on time. I will keep this and use it happily, but later will look for a more feminine one.

The bag is very sturdy and has lots of sections for your items. It is a little on the heavy side.
