I got this for my dwarf hamster, and it smelled terrible. I usually buy this bedding for my hamster, and I like the purple/pink bedding and the white. I dont know if its something in the dye, but I cleaned my hamster more frequently because I thought it was him that stank. Ive had luck before, and hope to someday buy this again.

it stinks. I use washable pee pads for my guinea pig and clean it twice a day and wash it every 3 days. when I use this bedding where she goes to pee it prolongs pee pad use before washing only marginally. doesnt do a thing for odor. it is still there same as if there was no bedding.

Great absorption. Spreads really well- the bag lasts us 2 weeks when scooping every day.
