Greater than one weekI bought 2 of these for me and my wife before we traveled to Italy. We knew that traditional luggage would be an issue on the cobblestone streets around the country and we were right! We took a 2 week trip and had to make some serious decisions about what to take since these arent as big as our hard-case luggage. Reality is, we could have left more at home. These were perfect for plane, train and auto and expanded to hold even more. I was worried they might not hold up to the rigors of air travel when we checked our bags but never had an issue. Glad we got them and will definitely be using again!!

> 3 dayMost backpacks that I had before, either came with bunch of different size sections and pockets which made it impossible to find what I was looking, or fewer sections, but if the thing I was looking for was at the bottom, I had to unload everything to get to it. This backpack solved both these flaws. It is built more like luggage suitcase than backpack, but it sits comfortable when carried as backpack. It has couple of pockets, for things like chargers or liquids, section that would fit laptop or something like that, and the rest of it is one big space for everything else. I just got back from our European trip where we moved 7 times between different hotels and apartments, and packing/unpacking this backpack really took very little time. Also because it doesnt have all of those useless sections and fancy pockets, it is very spacious. There is option to expand it, but I didnt have the need to do that. Materials used, stitching and zippers appear durable enough. So far I dont see any wear and tear issues. If you are flying budget airlines, obviously it is bigger than they allow to carry on for free, but in my experience they rarely measure if what I am carrying is reasonably small, and this backpack is reasonably small looking. So far I flew 3 times on budget airlines and it was fine. My ONLY complaint, it doesnt have a pocket for water bottle.

> 3 dayBought it for a four day trip to Florida. Held everything I needed and probably could have stuffed more in. Threw it on my back and hauled it through the airports with no problem. Fit easily into the overhead rack. Didnt give it 5s because have only gone on one trip so far.

> 3 dayI travel a lot, and this bag was perfect for carry on / weekend travel. (Used on American Airlines & Frontier as carry on, fully packed.) However, the front pocket ripped at the seam. I still use the backpack for travel, but it sucks not being able to use the front pocket. Im hoping the main compartment doesnt break. I use a lot of backpacks for every day use. This one is probably as sturdy as a walmart backpack, but not as good as Herschel.

Greater than one weekIve went to Mexico and walked around all morning waiting for my airbnb to be ready. Since then, Ive started a new job and use this to lug around tools. Doesnt show any signs of tearing or anything yet. Its comfy if you have it on correctly. Id recommend this over wheeling around luggage.

> 3 dayI just ordered and used this bag for a long weekend trip out of state. It easily held 5 outfits, a zip up Hoodia, a pair of vans sneakers, toiletry bag, makeup bag, socks & undies. I also fit a small notebook and gameboy in the outer pockets. It has a 2 inch expansion, which I did use. I took 2 flights and had no issues walking in with it as my carryon. The only cons are: it can get heavy walking around with this on your back, it doesnt have wheels. And it doesnt have any hard/stiff structure. So living out of it is a bit wonky because the lid flops and the sides will collapse when open and full. Worth the price I paid for sure. And Ill definitely use it again.

Greater than one weekI ordered this backpack along with several others to do a boss-comparison. Thank goodness I did. I was reluctant to try this bag because it lacked features the others had, either a bottle holder or a USB charging port. All I can say it this bag was so much better in every way then the 5 other bags I tried, I can live without the bottle holder and charging port. The quality of this bag makes all the others look cheap. From the thickness of the fabric to the bulk of the zippers it’s head and shoulders above the rest. And all the extra pockets are a bonus. With all the extra room I can easily store a water bottle. It was stuffed and it still fit under my seat on United. I’ve only used it once so I can’t speak of its durability, but it definitely seems made to last.
