Not a good buy for any practical utility. May be ok for thin plastic. The drill bit had trouble getting through a 1.5 inch pine board. I used a 7/32 drill bit to pre drill. The 1+1/2 inch hole blade wasnt very sharp. The saw dust wasnt being ejected out, despite pulling it out every 1/8 inch or so. I ran my drill at half speed and paused every 30 seconds (hoping not to build up too much heat). I thought maybe I wasnt spinning fast enough to get the sawdust out of the teeth so I speed it up. The wood started smoking (of course) so I stopped. When I ran the drill in reverse (slowly) to pull out the hole saw, the drill bit broke (see pictures). Also, the depth of the saw is a hair shy of an inch (so getting through a 2x4 takes two passes). Just thought Id iterate that here because it didnt help my frustration (I fully take responsibility) . Reading it and experiencing it are two different things.

The plate provided does not fit the saws that are 2 inches or below.

I was bit skeptical before using it on 1 inch HT plywood, but the saw worked perfectly. It is a good product for any kind of light to medium wood job, including drywall, carbon fiber and plywood sheets. This saw set is good for domestic projects only, but cant take professional grade job. Overall great product to have in your kitty would recommend it.

These saws are useless for cutting wood. I used the hole saw to cut a 2.5 hole in the side of a sink cabinet to run hoses while replacing an undercounter dishwasher. That first hole was fine. When I went to cut a second hole through the floor of the sink cabinet I learned that the saw teeth had been worn down to nubs while drilling the first hole. The saw was no longer usable. Probably these saws could be used more than once for drilling holes in styrofoam or wallboard, but they are useless for drilling holes in wood. I did get the dishwasher installed successfully using other means to cut the second hole in the floor of the cabinet.

They are not the fastest bits I have ever had. The <2 bits allow you to use the drill bit to remove the wooden puck after drilling without much issue. They do not clear themselves of dust when drilling so I woudl suggest you remove them every so often to allow for less binding up. They are not going to last a long time form what I can tell but take up little space and are organized for a few small projects.

Liked the colors. But disappointed that the safety caps didn’t fit to pop on.

I shouldn’t be surprised considering how cheap this is. Even so it baffles me a little how quickly it tore up and broke from regular use. The FIRST time I used it. The pilot hole bit snapped in half and the center piece that fits in the drill chuck broke. The blades seem fine. So I’m just going to replace the center bit and keep rolling.

They are cheap and won’t hardly go thru wood

It seems like a cheap set thats made in china of the cheapest metal. The case wont latch properly so expect everything to get loose and tumble inside. This is a classic case of You get what you pay for. I needed to drill some holes in ABS plastic junction boxes, drywall and plywood every once in awhile and it worked fine, hasnt broken yet. The saws stayed attached to the drill and did not come loose unlike other cheaper alternatives, however I do not anticipate them to handle your more heavy duty jobs or consistent use. For the money spent and the verity you get, it could be worth it.... I probably wont buy it again.

Its no Milwaukee or Dewalt but it will work for light, occasional use.
