> 3 dayI purchased this unit for my RV parking area next to my home. Our Motor Home is a 40 foot bus, diesel pusher with twin A/C and requires 50 AMPS. I had a licensed electrical contractor install this Connecticut Electic 80 AMP box. When I plugged in my 50 AMP plug, the plug was proud to the point the door would not close. I had to use my grinder and cut a relief big enough for the plug in order for the door to close and latch. This is not a good design for 50 AMP users. If you have a 30 AMP service or just want to use the 110V plugs, it will probably suffice... But if you have 50 AMPS, BEWARE!!

> 3 dayThis unit is greatly improved over the previous model purchased. This unit seems to be well built and even has a new lid that allows you to close the cover while power cables are connected which previous model did not provide. Downfall is the cheap aluminum hinges which will break off if you are not careful. All in all it is not bad for the price.

> 3 dayThis is my second electric box that I have ordered for my RV. This one is nearly identical as my first one except for the raised area on the door to allow room for the power cord plugs. This is far superior to the other one and easy to install and wire.

Greater than one weekA larger 1 1/2 knock out is needed on the lower center of the box for a larger conduit connection.
