> 3 dayBesides the good reviews, I got interested in this bag because I liked the look of the leather straps and zipper handles against the black cloth. Apart from the look, the leather belts on the sides (4 total) may actually help keep the shape of this bag for a long time (my previous bag seems like it has the same cloth as this one but no belts and my old bag just slumps over when my laptop isnt in it). Speaking of laptops, I used it for a Lenovo T460S but Ive upgraded to the Surface Book with a PowerBase and both fit in the laptop area with no problem. Another thing that I didnt expect to be really useful was all the external pockets it has in differing sizes (6 total). For example, I use one just for my two sets of keys so no more fumbling for my keys (normally, I have one on me and its real easy to swap between the two). I also use one pocket just for my work badge/access card so no more fumbling for that either. The last thing that surprised me was converting it to a backpack. I originally thought it was gimmicky and that Id probably try it once but never use it again but I was wrong. For work, I use the bag as a messenger bag, but when I travel on a plane, I really found it very convenient to use it as a backpack (used it on two trips already). Not only is it more comfortable because the weight is distributed over both shoulders, but its also a lot easier to move through the airplance aisle when you board and deplane.

03-04-2025I spent 60 bucks on my last satchel to carry around a laptop in. It was working fine but the old one started to fray on the nylon. Having a good bag is very important to me, its not just my bag, its a kind of horcrux or phylactary for me haha. I have room in this thing for a small clutch of medicine bottles, nail clippers, antiacids, walkie talkies, folding over-the-ear headphones, 14x17 sketchpad, pencil roll, screwdriver set, leatherman, swiss army knife, camping silverware, twine, drinking water straw, several USB sticks, portable battery, usb cords, playing cards, army compass, 10-15 misc club cards and Surface 3 tablet with keyboard... and its able to hold all that comfortably, like it was built to do it, wow! One thing that really made me happy with the purchase is that the inside of it actually has a specialized silky rounded egg carton pad to make sure that the surface (or any other tablet) has any pressure on it diffused Really really happy with it! Buy the thing! Update - 2021 I sadly had to retire the bag last year because it was so heavy that the carrying strap ended up fraying and falling off. With a little love and stitching I fixed it for a few months but that too ended up falling apart. Still love the bag during its time but it was time to switch over to a Mole backpack. Very happy customer here!

> 3 dayI bought this bag before I bought the cooling fan my Laptop sits on. I was happy to see this bag even had a pouch for it as well. Storing the power cord is a bit sketchy but it still has a place for that thing too. Backpack straps, a Shoulder strap and even has a regular handle style as well. This bag even has a place to stash an umbrella as well. I highly recommend this thing to anyone looking for a bag to store a Laptop in.

> 3 dayThis is a great find. Well organized, with lots of smaller and medium-sized pockets, good zippers. Brilliant idea to have back-pack straps integrated into the unit — much better for your back and out of the way. Whichever straps you dont use you stow away in the back pocket. Back-pocket space also serves as a large and tight sleeve to put the bag over a suitcase handle. Excellent design and (at least so far) good workmanship.

> 3 dayReally good commuter bag, got the smaller one and it fits my laptop and anything additional I may have. Very nice looking bag for the price and it is very functional. Would recommend this bag to anyone who wants a commuter bag for a great value.

> 3 dayI love this bag so far with how durable it feels and how much storage space it has and would give it 5 stars if not fpr one glaring problem My only qualm is with one of the shoulder bags clips being outright broken and I couldnt even find the missing piece to see if I could just fix it myself. If possible Id very much appreciate a replacement being sent my way. But who knows if thatll happen. (EDIT) Ive just realized the cross body strap I received with my bag was the wrong strap entirely on top of being broken upon arrival. Its also missing the shoulder strap cushion as well. Thusly, Ive removed a star from my review.

Greater than one weekThis laptop bag has been the single most useful piece of luggage that I was brought with me to Europe. Airlines count it as a personal item even though it can fit as much as a backpack. The ability to switch from a shouder carry strap to a backpack has been immensely useful while traveling on public transit. The fact that the shoulder straps can all be stowed in the bag itself means that switching methods of carrying the bag are easy and fast. Fun tip: If you find yourself somewhere prone to rain (most of Europe) you can fit a full size umbrella down the middle of where the shoulder straps are stowed and it holds it perfectly with the handle sticking out just a bit above your head. The quality is yet to be fully tested, but it has held up pretty well to some pretty intense travelling so far. I have seen a few loose stitches, but they dont seem to be super integral to the structure of the bag. There are pockets for everything! Plenty of space for spare batteries, papers, receipts, personal items, and more. This seriously kept me more organized than normal, by providing specific pockets for specific things.

> 3 dayThe bag is stylish, but not overly fancy. It comes in a variety of colors. My wifes is a pretty purple and mine own is black with leather accents. Hers looks feminine and mine looks masculine. The zippers are strong, well made, and they open and close with ease. There are lots of zippers too because there are pockets in abundance. It can be carried with a nice wide shoulder strap or with two small handles on the top, or as a backpack. Very handy. There are two large inside pockets. The first large pocket has a padded division where one can keep their 15 laptop. In that pocket, there is a second division where one could put any number of things such as a 8.5 x 11 notepad. There are small net pockets inside that can hold a variety of things alongside the notepad. The other large pocket sits just behind the laptop pocket and it has its own zippered opening. It is easily large enough to hold something that is 8.5 x 11 x 1.5. Then on the front of the bag there are two smaller pockets about 5x5x1. I easily put my computer adapter and cord in one of those. There is another thinner pocket behind those pockets. Not easily visible, but very available, is a pullman strap on the back of it. Some may call that a luggage strap. It easily slides over the handle of my carry-on bag. I just used this on a flight home. The bag worked like a charm. It looks nice, works extremely well, is well made, has lots of storage space, easily handles a 15 laptop. It is a good buy. And nope, no one paid me to say it, and yes, I bought it with my own money, and yes, I am very happy with it. No complaints at all.
