> 3 dayI wasnt sure about the messenger bag, but I know I wanted a smaller bag than just a normal backpack. No complaints about this bag. I love that you can convert between a normal backpack, a messenger bag, and a brief-case-type bag whenever you want. I go to college in a very cold climate so being able to pull out the shoulder straps and keep my hands in my pockets is perfect.

> 3 dayIve been using the bag for a couple weeks now. I bought it specifically for a business trip. I needed a new shoulder bag that I would want to use day in and day out, even on weekends, but would still look professional on a business trip (I did not want a generic looking black bag or backpack). This bag has been great! The convertible shoulder straps are more comfortable than expected and the way the stow away is great. The pocket layouts make organizing my stuff very convenient. And it can fit quite a bit. Even fully packed, though, the bag stayed small enough to easily fit under the seat in front of me on my flights during the trip. Everything so far feels like its well constructed. The canvas feels sturdy, but not stiff (I suggest scotch guarding it - I may try to get it waxed). Zippers run smooth and I dont have an issue with them catching or being stiff (a problem Ive encountered on other bags). Overall I am extremely pleased with the bag. It is definitely my new every day go to bag.

Greater than one weekI spent 60 bucks on my last satchel to carry around a laptop in. It was working fine but the old one started to fray on the nylon. Having a good bag is very important to me, its not just my bag, its a kind of horcrux or phylactary for me haha. I have room in this thing for a small clutch of medicine bottles, nail clippers, antiacids, walkie talkies, folding over-the-ear headphones, 14x17 sketchpad, pencil roll, screwdriver set, leatherman, swiss army knife, camping silverware, twine, drinking water straw, several USB sticks, portable battery, usb cords, playing cards, army compass, 10-15 misc club cards and Surface 3 tablet with keyboard... and its able to hold all that comfortably, like it was built to do it, wow! One thing that really made me happy with the purchase is that the inside of it actually has a specialized silky rounded egg carton pad to make sure that the surface (or any other tablet) has any pressure on it diffused Really really happy with it! Buy the thing! Update - 2021 I sadly had to retire the bag last year because it was so heavy that the carrying strap ended up fraying and falling off. With a little love and stitching I fixed it for a few months but that too ended up falling apart. Still love the bag during its time but it was time to switch over to a Mole backpack. Very happy customer here!

> 3 dayMy son wanted this specific one because of size and durability. Product came early and he is very satisfied with all of the compartments and able to use for work. He has to transport a laptop for on the road coordinations and work from home once in a while. Great look and sharp looking for either male or females to use.

> 3 dayThe bag is very nice, almost perfect, and better quality than I expected to be honest. Quick and to point is this: the bag has more significant materials than I would have guessed, and its basically just like the bag you see in the pictures. At this price I expected to find a small box with a rolled up, abysmally strewn together bag, made of materials so thin and cheap that my mind would boggle. But that was not the case at all, instead it is a nicer product than I had imagined it could be at this price. The size and fit of it is perfect for my 15.6 clevo P650RS-G laptop and accessories, except there is not a single pocket that will fit the power supply for my laptop without bending the cable where it exits the power adapter at what I consider an inappropriate angle, but its a monster 230ish watt power supply, a normal laptop power supply shouldnt have any issues I would imagine. The material feels pretty nice as far as I can tell, and overall the bag is made of as heavy weight of a fabric as I expected by looking at the pictures, which is nice. Interior padding for a laptop is almost perfect, but I would like to see better padding on the bottom of the bag, as there is not much at all there. For me, im using a laptop sleeve inside the bag, and its effectively just a part of the bag for me, the laptop slides in and out without needing to ever remove the sleeve from the bag. I cant really tell if the leather is actual leather, I didnt think so at first, because its too smooth and shiny, but the soft grain side sure feels nice, so i just dont know. Also, the leather straps feel stretchy and weak, but that is not really a bad thing because they are not really structural. Now for the bad news. The zipper seems pretty okay, probably as good as most bags, seems better than a bad zipper, but it certainly isnt a nice, quality zipper. I think keeping in mind that the zipper is not a YKK should be enough to make the zipper last a long time. The big complaint I have, is that one of the zippered pockets, on the front of the bag, has its pocket liner sewn into the seem of the bag, making the pocket effectively 70% smaller and being an awkward shape inside, so basically its not much good. If it was not for this defect, I would have given this 5 stars, because while there are some things that could be improved to make it a bag that would be able to last most people many years of use, the way it is configured seems perfectly acceptable and actually a very good quality for the price, and I would highly reccomend it. If they come out with a similar bag, with really nice YKK or comparable zippers, and more robust storage options inside the pockets, with some padding on the bottom of the bag, and some slightly better stitching, maybe doubling up on the stitching at some key spots, then to me that would a perfect bag that would be worthy of a nice price premium over this current one, but again, this bag is really pretty alright all around.

> 3 dayFirstly, I really like this laptop bag. I wanted an inexpensive, stylish bag, and it truly delivers on both points. Frankly, I am quite happy with it. But, in good conscious I cannot give too many stars. Contrasted with a proper, high-end, well-built bag which would deserve say four or five stars, this bag simply would not stand up. Storage is OK, but I kind of have to decide between a/c adapter and books or papers. The pockets in the front are oddly shaped and moderately useful, OK for a cell phone charger or other small items. The main compartment has a couple small pockets and a place for three pens. A better bag would have pockets / organizers inside of pockets with zippers, elastic mesh, etc. The laptop protection is rather minimal, with a pad only on the back—no protection on the bottom or sides where really needed. The convertible shoulder straps are highly functional, and I like that it sits like a regular bag and wears like a backpack. The only problem with the shoulder straps is when stowed they occupy the same space as the slot for a roller board handle, thus get hung up when trying, say, to quickly get through airport security. On that note, I did travel with the bag, but—as a former business traveler—I can confidently say this bag would virtually disintegrate under the stress of frequent travel, as it is simply not heavy duty. The rear compartment is perfectly functional for papers, folders, etc. However, if you actually filled a majority of the bag I seriously doubt it would support the weight for long before falling apart. Please, do not take this review as negatively as it may seem. If you like the way this bag looks, and need a light-duty bag then I highly recommend it. If you travel for work or are tough on your stuff, and need your bag to hold up to abuse, you’re going to have to spend some dough on something better.

Greater than one weekThis is an excellent made, sturdy bag and is perfect for to/from the office. I often move from floor to floor for meetings and this is lightweight enough and compact that its seamless to carry. Despite it being compact there is a ton of dedicated pockets so you can organize all your stuff. Feels good on the shoulder and strap is well padded. The only negative (not enough to even take a star off IMO) as others have mentioned is the backpack straps. I appreciate the flexibility with carrying options but i would buy a backpack if I wanted one. I got this to be a more professional looking bag. Honestly I just used scissors and cut off the backpack straps to cut down on the extra bulk and youd never notice the difference. Overall love this bag and would highly recommend.

> 3 dayI needed a bag for every day for carrying laptop to work and also as my personal bag for flights. This bag, loaded with laptop and daily necessities is not as heavy as some I tried. It slips over the handle of a rolling carry on easily and is not too heavy to carry around the airport either as shoulder or back pack if necessary. it is not packed so full for daily trips to work but for a flight I managed to stuff one (very lightweight) change of clothes along with basic makeup, toiletries and medications as well as the Laptop with charger, iPad and some paperwork, iPhone, chargers and my clutch wallet. My 15.6 Lenovo thinkpad fits nicely. The laptop exact measurements are 14 7/8 x 10 x 1 3/8 at widest/thickest points with battery installed and it slips snugly but without trouble into the padded laptop area. It feels sturdy so far, all zippers and straps/handles seem secure. The backpack straps do try to slip out of the sleeve when stored, but someone suggested adding a little Velcro to that area and I will probably do that. It has plenty of pockets to keep items organized and as a bonus is a nice looking bag! There is no outside elastic pouch for a water bottle, but I found a water bottle sleeve with clip that will snap on to one of the rings on the bag. The carry strap has a padded part that I had to work with a little while to get into the right position but after that it was comfortable and did not slip off my shoulder. I cannot speak for durability since it is still relatively new. Overall I am very happy with this purchase.
