> 3 dayI bought these for my brother as a birthday gift because he runs a small art business. He was very happy to receive these in the mail. The brand really holds up to its rep. My coworkers, as well, are avid artists and swear by these markers. BUY. THESE. MARKERS.

> 3 dayI was so excited to find a set of markers that gave me some options for skin tones-- nothing is more frustrating than the lack of skin tone choices currently available! Reading up on copics, I noted that many people use layering techniques with this set to create additional tones; I havent yet tried that. These markers are incredibly smooth and easy for a novice to use. They do have a fairly strong odor akin to rubbing alcohol, so if you are sensitive, you may want to consider that.

> 3 dayIve been wanting to buy these kind of markers for a while, and although I loved them there are times that when using the fine tip a ink drop will come down and ruin what I was working on, other than that theyre pretty legit.

> 3 dayExcellent variety of flesh tones and the paint brush nub glides across the page like youre actually painting. Only problem I encountered was a wee bit of bleeding. Im a design student and I bought these to use with my Fashionary sketch notebook. I do a lot quick fashion sketches in there and I needed some markers to quickly render my figures, you know, make them a little more realistic looking. But when I went to use these for the very first time, they completely bled through the page and almost ruined some designs I had on the back. I will admit though that the front of the page, the side of the page that was actually colored on, did look nice. You just pay for it on the other side. So, if youre looking to use this product in conjunction with Fashionary notebooks youd be wise to put your spending money elsewhere. However, if you plan on using a thicker grade of paper, Itll most likely get the job done (Confession #2: Havent tried it with thicker paper, yet. But Ive got plans to). Happy Rendering!!

> 3 dayBeing a newcomer to Copic markers, I wasnt entirely sure what to expect. Many artists I admire use Copics for coloring their drawings, so I decided to give them a shot. Needless to say, they fulfilled and even surpassed my expectations! Copic markers are often criticized for their high price tags, retailing from around five to eight USD, but upon receiving them, I understood why they retail at this price. They are incredibly high-quality markers, and some of the best for blending. Since Copics are alcohol-based, you are able to use them to layer your coloring more without worrying about tearing the paper. Personally, I much prefer the look of alcohol-based markers over other markers such as dye or water-based markers. The colors appear vibrant and beautiful on the page and compliment any drawing wonderfully. Copics, when used properly, should last you a fairly long time. Once the ink has run out, Copic offers replacement ink refillers which is a great alternative to being forced to buy many new markers. I have not yet had to refill my markers so I cant say how well this works from personal experience, but Ive heard from others that refilling Copics is an easy and rewarding process. There are a few things beginners like me should be wary of when using Copics, however. As with any other marker, there is always the possibility of smudging your lineart if youre like me and tend to ink a sketch before coloring it. This can also unfortunately apply to pencil eraser smudges; I have often had eraser smudges appear much more visibly on my coloring with them being near-impossible to remove. A great way to avoid this is photocopying a high-quality scan your lineart and instead coloring the scan to avoid the risk of messing up the original. If youre a beginner to using Copics, the skin tone pack is a great place to start your collection. If you tend to draw characters or portraits, skin tones will definitely be a necessity. This is where I started my Copic collection, and the high quality of the skin tone pack impressed me enough to add many more Copics to my collection since. In conclusion, if you have interest in finding a good marker, these are a great, albeit pricey choice. If youre on-the-fence about purchasing these markers, you might find it a better option to purchase one color individually to make sure you enjoy them before wasting your money on a product you dont enjoy. Many stores such as Micheals allow you to test the marker on a piece of scrap paper before buying it. If you do feel confident about buying these markers, however, I say go for it! Their high quality and long-lasting color is well worth the price.

> 3 dayBesides the ridiculous price for the Copic Skin Tone marTone, They seem to last a long time. I am just bewildered by the pricing for these markers. As a cartoonist / sketch artist this price is a little steep. Plus it is pretty tough to find skin tone markers that will last a while and not run dry when you trying to color a picture. So basically you have to buy them. Would say its worth the pruce. But it is better to buy them in bulk, because the price for a single one of these Markers is about 9 dollars. Crazy, I know... Overall works really well. If you store them in a cool place the ink will indeed last a long time.

> 3 dayThese markers ran out way quicker than normal. We have bought copic markers in the past and they all lasted a much longer time. We contacted Amazon and they refunded our purchase price to buy a new replacement pack. Hopefully the next set is longer lasting then the one we received.
