Some thick power cables that go from the power supply to the motherboard have wire mesh sheathing, and where the sheathings end, there are what seems to be thick heat shrink tubes to hold the ends. These tubes are so hard that the cables dont bend at all on the tubes, which can be a serious problem in routing cables inside the computer case. Also because of this inflexibility, it puts a lot more stress on the connectors on the motherboard.

As much as braided cables are super cool, these cables have parts near the end that make it a real pain to fit them into your case. I was upgrading my psu to this one, and it may be my fault somehow, but since I’ve switched, my computer no longer boots to windows.

The unit worked fine in my system until it just up and dropped dead on me in the middle of my live stream. FUZZORO on twitch was not very happy with this PC for years to come power supply..... now I own a brick thats headed to the landfill. I dont even want to bother with a replacement. Bye.

Im upgrading my computer from its old i5 4670K to a newer i7 setup, and decided a new power supply was probably a good idea. This Corsair is plenty powerful for my i7 7700K and GTX 1080 graphics card (I think my system max is 365 watts, so 650 has plenty of headroom).

nice power supply, cables are nicely put together and looks good with the flex braid tubing on them, time will tell but so far so good

I havent tried Corsair power supplies in a while but I thought I would try this model for a new htpc build since it was highly rated and was supposed to be very quiet. Unfortunately it was DOA so I guess Im going back to EVGA power supplies.

My system is running an RTX 2060 and a GTX 1660 from an Intel Core I9 - 9900K (3.6 Ghz). It just keeps going and going. The PSU does not overheat or complain.

What can I say it’s a good power supply
