Greater than one weekwill never go back to a non modular power supply ever. this power supply includes capability to disable cooling fan at low to mid level power demands to save on noise while remaining 80+ efficient or better. will buy again for another build

> 3 dayThe box and the documents inside the box were for RM650X, but the item itself was CX650M. The cable set was not the cable set described in the document for RM650X. The CX650M was also defective. The main ATX cable was damaged inside, and the unit turns on and off depending on how the cable is bent. It is a nightmare that PCs power is cut off for slightest disturbance to the PC case, and even worse that it keeps turning on and off.

Greater than one weekIm actually happy my old PSU failed. This new one was easy to install and works great so far. The price seemed good to me also. Recommended...

> 3 dayBe aware if you are just putting this in an older tower with PS location at the top, not for you, unless you create some support brackets. Big deal, I got a case to let the PSU sit on the bottom. This brought out more to my old AM2 boardf than I ever thought possible. It was like a whole new PC

> 3 dayPower supply works great when it turns on. If I shut down the pc wont turn back on until i jiggle power cord and unplug it a few times. Tried different power cords, different surge protectors and directly in the wall. Same results. Disappointed and now i have to find a new power supply.

> 3 dayInstalled the PSU in a system that should draw 550~600 watts under load and noticed a few months later that some of the plastics in the unit had melted. Seemed to be something that a power coil was wrapped around. PSU is still functional but I certainly dont trust it enough to use it again. Recommend you go with EVGA instead.
