Old 7 year old Corsair PSU was working, but suddenly started feeding the motherboard with power even after shutdown. This caused the LEDs and fans to stay powered on until I flipped thr power switch behind the PSU to off. This actually started happening to me back in Nov 2019 but just never got around to doing it. New PSU solved the problem as I had anticipated. Ive been a Corsair customer for many years and this does not disappoint. The only downside for those who like solid cable management is that each of the PCI-E cables has 2 ends coming out of them to power the GPU. Not a big deal, but this makes the cable management a but clunkier. Zip ties helped me a little bit.

If I could rate less than a single star, for this product I would. Please, I’m warning you right now, you will be disappointed ordering this as I am now. It’s frustrating to have put up a whole PC just to have your power supply be completely dead. After running tests, we’ve come to the definite conclusion that this product was garbage. The box had rips and was sticky and in very poor condition while receiving it. When we opened it, two screws came out from inside it and while installing it, it would not even run at all. Completely dead! So if you are thinking of buying this, DON’T! Waste of money, waste of time. Never been so disappointed. Built many PCs and never had this problem. Never trusting them again. As I said already, do not buy!

Works good so far. They sent me the 2018 rm750x refresh even though the the product page showed the old version. No big deal as i actually wanted the 2018 model anyway.

Mine died after 26 days. Ive always trusted corsair to provide top of the line power supply units. I havent given up on this company for PSUs; I feel that computer hardware is going through a rough time right now. Even our beloved hardware isnt built like it used to be. My last corsair 650w lasted 12.2 years which is beyond the 100k rated life. A little concerning though. We shall see.

Ive built my own PCs for a couple of decades plus; get a better computer for less money and I pick the components I want. All around good. This time, my 500w power supply worked for a few years and then started throwing out last-gasp power problems. Once Id determined that my PCs problems WERE the power supply, I went looking. This make caught my eye--most reviews online were positive--and I picked the higher-end power supplied. So far its like my few-years-old PC is a young punk again. Right now Ive got all ten internal devices (plus high-end AMD video card) plugged in and no problems anywhere. I like it, my PC likes it, and I figure in a few years when I build another one Ill have to get another one of these (my ex PCs retire into rotating positions as my server).

Ive had a corsair PSU running 24/7 bronze cert. since 2012 with my gtx 680 sucking power, And its still going with the fan never turining on. Love Corsair.
