It’s a power supply, and it works well and it’s super quiet. Wish it would do my taxes for me, but again, it’s a power supply. Buy it, just don’t expect it to do your taxes for you, but it will be quiet.

I dont know who at corsair decided to use these cables but they are terrible. At each connector they use about 2 inches of heat shrink. This basically means there is a 2 inch hard piece of plastic at each end of the cables that cannot bend. Essentially what happens is the cable sticks straight out from the connector about 3 inches and there is nothing you can do about it without potentially damaging the cables. This is a nightmare for cable management. Who the hell thought this would be a good idea and why has corsair not fixed this yet?

There is NOTHING like a full modular PSU nice and my pc is mostly Corsair.

Used it for exactly 2 days, PC was idle and it suddenly turned off. Tried turning it off and on, different power outlets, unplugged cables one by one to see if there was a short, and nothing, just a click sound. Finally tested it with just the paper clip and an external fan, and same thing, just click. Swapped it out for another PSU I had around, and the PC turned on. Unfortunately this is not my first Corsair thats failed this soon, brother also bought a Corsair RM750 and died less than 3 months. Disappointed.

Got it all set up and it worked well for the first 2 days and then died on me an hour and a half into turning on my pc. Tried multiple things to see what was wrong and fix it but would just click and even spark. I know my friend has the same exact psu and has never experienced this problem so this is quite upsetting recieving this faulty unit.

Got everything installed and booted up before I closed everything up and it worked. Once I rebooted my PSU was DEAD ended up having to send it back.

If I could rate less than a single star, for this product I would. Please, I’m warning you right now, you will be disappointed ordering this as I am now. It’s frustrating to have put up a whole PC just to have your power supply be completely dead. After running tests, we’ve come to the definite conclusion that this product was garbage. The box had rips and was sticky and in very poor condition while receiving it. When we opened it, two screws came out from inside it and while installing it, it would not even run at all. Completely dead! So if you are thinking of buying this, DON’T! Waste of money, waste of time. Never been so disappointed. Built many PCs and never had this problem. Never trusting them again. As I said already, do not buy!
