Really good ram, only expected a heatspreader instead of a sticker.

Bought these for my MSI gp73. They work great, did a couple of memory test when I recieved and installed them, and no issues. I can say I noticed a big difference, only cause my gp37 came with only 8gb since it was cheaper for me to upgrade the RAM later, which then bought these RAM sticks. Im not a hardcore gamer or video/ photo editor, and bought these primarily cause of having a lot of of programs running when I do flight sims (some know that having upgraded scenery can kill loading times without adequate RAM and of course processor/HD speed). Had them for a little over 6 months now, and had no issues so far.

Awesome product. I have been searching for a RAM upgrade since 4GB wasnt sufficient for the image processing i was using in Adobe Lightroom on my thinkpad E431. I was bit concerned whether this Model would suit my needs but i must say it is pretty good deal for the buck. Also, you must understand, that as this is 1.5 V Ram your laptop should support this besides RAM frequency(1600Mhz), per slot capacity(Mine is 16GB/slot total 32GB) and PC3-12800 value.(Basically you can find this info on your processor info page). Also, as a caution do not mix 2 dissimilar sized RAM even though they have same frequency(as 2GB+8GB or 4GB+8GB@1600MHZ) as this will bring down total speed of the RAM around 1333MHZ.(Although better CAS value) and performance will be slower. If you want an upgrade to more RAM, Add same 8GB to another slot.(Same CAS value as in this case it is 10).

Just peel and stick to your ram. Contains 2 slim aluminium heatsinks to adhere to one ram stick. Took me minutes to apply to 2 ram sticks. Allows for applications where ram slots are close together. Provides great heat dissipation for the price. Purchased two sets for my crucial ram sticks.

Great ram. For not too much more you can get the 16 gigs though. I bought this before I realized that. If you can afford it I would highly suggest the 16 gigs over this one but it depends on your needs.

Bought May 2020. Worked fine (high speed) until April 2022 when a bunch of addresses around the 2.5-2.6 GB mark have gone bad. Worries me because I bought 2 more 16GB sticks in 2022 and it would suck if those failed 2 years from now. Probably just bad luck and a one-off issue, but it still sucks.
