Coway Airmega AP-1512HH Air Purifier Replacement Filter Set, 1 Count (Pack of 1), White

Ive tried the generic versions to save money, but the Coway replacement is the only one that snaps in easily. I feel more confident that air is being efficiently filtered. Im very sensitive about odors and the Coway filter has no odor of its own, and does a great job cleaning the air.

We have the Coway air purifier which is on at all times. This replacement filter must be changed periodically. It certainly does the job! My husband cannot be without it because of live oak pollen. He is comfortable as long as the house is closed and the purifier is running.

Better instructions for installation needed

Does a good job with cleaning the air. The only reason this doesn’t get all five stars is because I had to air out the charcoal filter before using it. Very strong chemical smell which wasn’t with the initial air purifier I purchased.

Sure, you could get generic filters that are cheaper, but certain things i like to spend more on. For example i only need to buy this once a year. Ill spend more for the name brand cuz you know what youre getting and its really not that much more.

I bought this unit because it was recommended by in an appliance magazine survey. Its really well designed. Very quiet unless its put on maximum fan speed, and even then the sound is less than what youd expect. It can be used in the manual mode or in the automatic mode. In the manual mode the fan speed is constant. In the automatic mode a sensor determines how many particles are in the air and it adjusts the fan speed up until the air quality improves and then it moves the fan speed back down. The controls are all intuitive. Very good value.

In September 2021, I ordered a spare filter, but ended up not needing it, as I was out of town much of the year. I finally opened it today (October 2022) and it smells like a chemical fire. I put it in the purifier anyway, hoping the smell would go away, but I got a terrible headache, so I removed the new filter and threw it in the trash. On the other hand, the new filter that arrived a week ago (September 2022) has no smell. Im hoping whatever supply chain issues Coway was having are over.

Pleased to find a genuine product. I live in Canada and most of the filters on .ca seemed counterfeit. Exchange and duty were reason and they came pretty quickly. They work exactly like the inea that came with the machine. Coway please sell your authentic filters in Canada.

i have a high precision air quality sensor, and a powerful home oven. but indicate that the filter turns on when the pm2.5 or TVOC is high, and these filter quickly remove it. however, i use both carbons, and the hepa in 6 months time. to maintain the air quality. that adds up very quickly..

I was a bit skeptical when ordering because I have never used an air purifier before. We just moved into a small cabin which had lingering smoke and marijuana smells - turned on this machine and the smell was gone within an hour! I was amazed! It runs very quietly, was super easy to set up and get started, and it looks stylist and nice in my cabin. It is a bit pricey but so far is earning its way. As allergy season progresses we will see how it affects my husband’s ability to breathe better but so far I am extremely impressed!
