The good quality is obvious when you install these. They were sturdy and easy to install with directional tabs. Liked the fact it came with extra carbon odor absorption filters. Would highly recommend these

Better instructions for installation needed

I was concerned, of course, because of the many reviews talking about a toxic smell. No toxic smell on mine. It smells like every other HEPA replacement filter Ive bought in the last 20 years from many different brands. Tested once with my dylos particle counter. I am getting about 30 ppm ambient indoors (after running these filters for a couple of days) and 3 ppm of 2.5pm at the exhaust (0 to 1 ppm of pm 10). 30 ppm is already very low, the outdoors is generally well over 1,000 ppm on my dylos meter. With the Canadian wildfires the ppm outdoors has been routinely over 5,000 ppm of pm2.5 and I even saw over 12,000 one day. Ill update when I get a few more readings. Im very happy with Coway so far, its a high quality and quiet machine with good filter replacements.

This is my first time replacing the Coway air filters so I had the originals to compare to. They looked exactly the same as the originals Happy with the product.

I have been waiting to order this for months since reading reviews of the smells with the filters. I finally purchased it when the price dropped and mine did NOT have a chemical smell to it. I am not sure if I just got lucky or if they have fixed the problem. I am very happy with this purchase, just wish they didn’t cost so much to begin with. I shouldn’t need to purchase any more for another year now.

I was skeptical when Inpurchaded these filters. However, they arrived on time & fit perfectly. I will purchase these filters again.

Last year, I bought a generic that was supposed to be just as good. It was not. The fit is perfect on the Coway brand filters. The knockoffs were loose and did not create a seal. When I swapped out the knockoff there was a large collection of dust behind it. Without the gap, the Coway filter will prevent this. Accept no imitations.
