I started with two 4GB chips (one soldered on to motherboard ). I replaced one with the 16GB Cucial brand ram chip and now have 20GB of ram! My computer can run GTA 5 and HALO MCC pretty well. It was already a good laptop from the jump now its extra smooth running and lightning fast while heavily multitasking. Get a SSD upgrade and youll have a decent budget workstation.

I have been using the RAM stick for around 1.5-2 years and it has started causing my laptop to crash due to memory issues. I had one 8 GB stick natively installed in my PC and this one I bought as an upgrade. However, now when I run memtest with the pre-installed RAM stick, I get no errors but when I run with both stick installed, HW memory issues are detected. How do I claim warranty on this? The product has 10 years warranty.

Imoroved the speed and performance of my laptop. Installed along with a SSD. I now changed my mind on buying a new laptop.

Thought that I might face some issues because my acer predator has kingston 8gb ram and this might not go well as i hoped. As Im a developer I have to run multiple programs daily and lately my laptop have been slowinf afternextensive use for some time.

Bought this as a memory upgrade for my laptop because I have to work with some rather large spreadsheets and databases. I knew the added memory would help, but I wouldnt have thought that going from 12GB to 16GB would make this much difference. Very much worth the investment!
