> 3 dayOn a scale of 1 to A Stick Of RAM, this is a Stick Of Ram. Arrived in minimal packaging on time and was/is functional 3 months later. Ran at rated speed. Really the only reason to downvote this Stick Of RAM is because you dont know how to pick ram or it arrived dead. Also crucial has a banging manufacturers replacement policy.

Greater than one weekThis worked great in my RS1221+ remember its not ECC RAM and what the Syno box comes with is ECC, if you mix them you will get a warning in DSM about incompatible RAM, that is only because you mixed ECC with non ECC RAM. Make sure you use the same type in both slots. But a much cheaper alternative than the Syno version which is hundreds of dollars
