Not saying I am lucky but I bought this product on sale $27.99, and it was delivered and received much faster that was expected. Havent even used it yet but Im sure its fine (EVEN though the deliverer put it right in front/under my door and I stepped on it) Looks new in a blister pack inside the display box. If you look at the ratings of SSDs for use with a Raspberry Pi, youll see this Crucial BX500 is one of the fastest for writing/reading.

I use it to boot from and I haven’t run into any problems!

Prices for SSD have come down significantly! This drive is a good example of that. For me crucial is a trusted brand, ive bought their memory sticks on multiple occasions. This drive installed easily with no hiccups. I out it into an 6 year old laptop - boot up time are now less than 10 seconds. Really happy with my purchase.
