Booted machine after the device had been working for about 90 days and I got magic smoke, first time in MANY years of building PCs. Upon inspection of the machine turns out this drive had decided to burn.

Really improves the speed for the laptop. Im using it on Inspiron 3521 n 3567. This is very easy to install in regular HDD spot or by using a DVD bracket. Cutting one star for being slightly expensive.

So I used to have a 2tb HDD Seagate, and it was slow, loud, and disc usage went up to 100 every time I opened a chrome tab. For more than 3 years I was looking for solutions how to speed up my laptop. So one of them was to upgrade RAM and another was to upgrade to SSD. I did both. Now I can barely hear my laptop working. I use illustrator and Photoshop. It used to take my laptop a whole 2 min to start up and another 2 to open any program, and Im not even talking about working on large files. The pain!, HDD started beeping (self reboot) and whole system would stall. Now it takes 10-20 seconds at most to turn on my laptop and get any programs to open and work. Thats a 200x increase in productivity for me. Im so happy. I changed everything myself also, which was pretty easy to do.

Unlike the MX500 series SSD this one does not come with auto garbage collection functionality. SSD gradually becomes slow as more and more garbage extensions are accumulated. Garbage deallocation needs to be done every few weeks by booting into boot menu during startup and keeping the pc in sleep mode.

Excellent SSD drive. Very suitable for storage as a second drive. Less suitable for main drive.

Hab davon schon sehr viele verbaut und bisher nicht bei einer Problem gehabt. Performance passt auch.

Buen SSD, después de varios años de uso no me ha dado ningún problema, lo he formateado varias veces, no se calienta y funciona como el primer día.
