> 24 hourProdotto comprato in offerta Amazon. Per il prezzo pagato è una ottima ssd, montata su un pc portatile un po’ vecchiotto, ha reso la sua velocità notevolmente maggiore.

> 24 hourA corrupt Windows installation, probably due to a deteriorating SSD, prompted me to buy another drive, and Amazon could get this one to me the same day as ordering. That side of things was fantastic and as expected. After installing Windows and apps, recovering and transferring profiles, and getting the system to how it was, all was fine for a few days. Odd problems then started - app windows not disappearing when the app was closed, shutdowns and boot-ups very slow (HDD speeds, not SSD), and Hard Disk Sentinel indicated the drive health was dropping like a stone. I installed Crucials own software to check and this confirmed the health figures and it shows 84% life remaining after a fortnight of use. A lengthy online chat with Crucial and they concluded the drive was failing and that the Power Cycle Count shouldnt be that high on a new SSD. The health dropped a further 1% during the chat! Ill continue to monitor for a couple more days while a new SSD arrives and I can clone this one (or restore from the daily back-ups!), but I am disappointed in this Crucial drive. The previous (Kingston) SSD deterioration that prompted this will be 3 years old tomorrow and has had some extensive use. A 3 year lifespan is what I expect, this BX500 may last 3 weeks!
