So far so good. These are very good drives and the same price as the budget brands. They work great in the laptops I have upgraded and are really fast.

Habe die Festplatte in meinen alten Laptop gebaut und aus einem Esel wieder ein Rennpferd gemacht. Der Unterschied zu einer normalen HDD ist wirklich enorm.

Very lightweight plastic case but works and is very fast.

I, like many other reviewers, have either received a piece of defective junk, or these are simply junk. The drive doesnt come with any extras, you only get the drive itself in a blister pack. Thats fair enough, I didnt expect to receive any screws or cables, I didnt pay for any extras. The drive was recognised by the BIOS, but not the OS. The disk could not be initalised successfully. The software available to download for disk installation would also not recognise the drive. I did manage to get Acronis Professional 2021 to recognise the drive, but was still not able to format or clone the original. I also tried several other disk installation/cloning software packages with no success. I managed to get it to about 40% on one occassion before the software prompted for a restart. Upon restart the drive had disappeared again! Ive tried a new cable, channel etc. but its just no good, it aint going to happen. I suspect a defective drive, however, after reading some of the other reviews, it appears as though defective drives are commonplace. Ive sent it back for a refund (hopefully) and have purchased a 1TB SanDisk SSD Plus to match my completely issue free, easy to install 480GB SanDisk Plus thats been problem free and running like a dream for over 5 years, with 93% life span remaining. Id strongly suggest that potential purchasers give this one a miss.
