Meine Hard disk war daran, ihre Dienste einzustellen. Also musste eine neue her. SSD oder konventionell, war die Frage. Ich habe mich für dieses SSD entschieden und keine Sekunde bereut (wobei die Lebensdauer hier natürlich hoffentlich einer möglichst noch lange ausstehnden Beurteilung harrt). Aber der SSD Speicher hat eine enorme Beschleunigung des Lap top bewirkt. Das Betriebssystem fährt um ein Vielfaches schneller hoch, etc. Möchte ich nicht mehr missen.

I get through laptops and computers - more than any sane person should. This is my go-to drive for upgrades - cheap, fast enough, reliable, and easy to install. If you want an immediate and noticeable improvement to the speed of your computer, this will do it. Startup times are very noticeably quicker and operation is quieter. Im sure others are equally as good, and if youre an aficionado, youll probably look down your nose at this - its not the latest, greatest NVME stick. True, but itll work in any computer that has a 2.5 bay, and does not need a degree in computing to figure out if the NVME is supposed to be SATA or PCIe, or M.2 or size 40 or 80 or 120 , or blah. Save yourself the effort - thisll do. You also dont need a bunch of adapters to make it work - it just works out of the box.

As additional storage, it can not be beat for the price. I have had no issues at all.

I replaced the HDD in my HP Pavilion x360 model 13-a010dx with this Crucial BX500 1TB 3D NAND SATA 2.5-Inch Internal SSD to give me additional storage as well as speed up this aging 2014 era computer. I also added a 4 GB DDR3 memory stick to bring the memory up to the maximum 8 GB. Good experience all the way around. Found a YouTube video for this specific model laptop and covered exactly the items I was needing to upgrade. Used the Acronis True Image cloning software that is easily downloaded for the Crucial SDD. Very satisfied.
