> 3 dayBought this Model No. CT500MX500SSD1 to soup up my desktop. Tried it with 3 different SATA cables (one taken from a working drive) and 2 different power cables. No combination worked. No matter what, OS would not recognize the SSD when computer was rebooted or cold-started. This looks like a case of bad QA/QC. In case the Crucial people want to track down the errant inspector, heres the serial no.: 190 1E1E0E39F. Ill never buy anything from this company again. At least it didnt wait until I had the OS on it to quit.
