Ive got an older Mac Book Pro and after some troubleshooting I determined that the hard drive finally went out. I love my Mac and wanted to keep it running as long as I can (Im actually cheap and dont want to buy another Mac...until I absolutely have to). The installation was an absolute breeze and my Mac seems to be running better than ever with this solid state drive. I keep all my stuff backed up on a time machine external hard drive so after I installed this drive in my computer a quick time machine restore and I didnt loose a thing. Im so happy I chose this drive for my Mac, it was absolutely seamless after I installed it and booted up my Mac for the first time. The Mac seems faster, quieter and even runs cooler. If you have some precision screw drivers and a little patience, you could easily install this new drive in your Mac in 30 minutes or so. I know there are several drives out there for old laptops, but this one fits my needs exactly. So happy with this purchase, my old Mac keeps on running!

Ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo, da test eseguiti rispetta quanto dichiarato nei dati di targa. Ideale per chi desidera ridare vita ad un vecchio pc, in cui il collo di bottiglia è generalmente lhard disk meccanico. Crucial si conferma un ottimo marchio. Lho comprato in abbinamento a staffe da pochissimi euro per adattarlo ad uno slot da 5 pollici in un mid-tower. Il trasferimento dati può essere eseguito da vari software, con preferenza per Acronis, supportato da questo hard-disk (sul sito vi sono tutte le istruzioni necessarie).

I bought two of these a while back when building a new PC. Both ended up failing within a year. They’re affordable and have fast read and write speeds for the price; very easy to install. And then, one morning, they died on me. Both of them. I was able to save the data, thankfully, but it’s an issue I don’t want to have to deal with. There’s a warranty, but I didn’t bother with it. I’d recommend spending extra on a safer product.

Good value and quality SSD. However, I had an issue where the drive would disconnect itself from the OS during idle times. I managed to get around this by tweaking power settings in windows but I have not had this issue with my Samsung EVO SSD

Habe die SSD in einen Mac mini (mid 2011) problemlos eingebaut, nachdem der Finder mehr als 3 Minuten für das Öffnen von Ordnern gebraucht hat. Auch der Systemstart und die Office Programme funktionieren wieder in wenigen Sekunden, was vorher Minuten dauerte.

Crucial comes highly recommended (2nd to the Samsung EVO SSDs), so Ive kept an eye out for good deals on these for awhile. I picked up this 2TB drive for just over $200. Awesome price. Id repurchase in a heartbeat if I could get the same price.

Lo he montado hoy y va como un autentico rayo, es una pasada, no hay tiempos de espera para nada, cualquier cosa es inmediata, hasta las aplicaciones pesadas las abre como si nada. Me enciende el ordenador en 11 segundos, una pasada. No creo que haya mucha diferencia entre este y el nuevo samsung 860 evo o pro, ya están todos los ssd al máximo de su velocidad, y este por el precio que tiene es sin duda la mejor opción a comprar.
