> 3 dayGreat for gaining extra speed in your SSD storage. This newer NAND PCIe M.2. is very good. It is much faster than older drives. So easy to install. The value of these drives as the price has come down it exceptional. I have always liked Crucial products and havent had many problems with their chips in the past. They have excellent customer service and warranty service. Works great in the MSI X99S.

17-12-2024Crucial licenses good software for mirroring your original drive and making this just an hour or so job for a major speed upgrade. I did my homework, and they are also one of the more reliable memory chip providers. Very happy with my purchase. Good bang for the buck. I updated both an older laptop with a Crucial SSD and this one went into my Costco desktop. Nice having boot-speeds that are 3x-4x faster.

Greater than one weekI will say that you shouldnt believe that this SSD comes with migration software. After buying this SSD and a compatible USB adapter and trying to use the Acronis True Image for Crucial, I found that the software said it could not detect a Crucial drive. I then tried the Free Trial for the real Acronis program and the free trial does not support Cloning. After two days chatting with Amazons experts, they told me that I would have to purchase a 3rd party software to upgrade my SSD which I refused to do and am returning the hardware.
