This is great memory but I sent it back because every CPU I bought from Amazon had either been stripped of its GPU or it was the wrong item (screen size)

Bought a laptop new for $275 from someone on FB who bought and changed their mind. Only had 4gb of ram. I added this to bring it to 20gb. I didnt update bios as it was a new computer. Specs said it maxed out at 16gb, but it recognized it no problem. Easy upgrade and I saved some money by doing it myself. Make sure you look up online how to do it without shocking it with static from your body. Thats important.

6 screws, 2 under each pad on the underside plus 2 at the front. The rest was clips around the edges. Preferably, use a plastic tool because the aluminum body could get easily scratched by a knife or screwdriver.
