This 16 GB DDR4 RAM from Crucial is easy to use and apply to expand random memory on my new MSI gaming laptop. You just need to open the bottom case of your laptop and plug it in, but make sure your laptop supports 3200 Mhz DDR4 RAM. Its cheaper on Amazon than elsewhere for this particular model of RAM during the holiday month only.

Brought 2 of 3200MT/s DDR4 1Rx8 modules. Both 2 memory modules are same as described. Works like a charm and JDEC default profile supports 3200MT/s without XMP. Both are running together with dual channel and single rank configuration. I have attached screenshots of my configuration.

My daughters laptop had only 4G, it limited her to only only 3 tabs (gmail, google doc, google calendar) in Chrome, the forth tab crashes the laptop. After replacing the existing memory with this 8G memory, my daughter was able to open more tabs in Chrome, the money well spent.
