> 3 dayUse DeOxit to enhance electric contact to any appliance switch or electrinic device thats making intermitent or deficient electric contact. Flashlights, photo eq., flashes, hot shoes, batteries and battery compartments, cable connectors, etc. The needle applicator lets you can precisely put a drop or two on both surfaces that should make electric contact and presto. It deoxidizes and lubricates switches, contacts or any other part that you suspect may not be making adequate connection. Great for flashlight threads and battery end contacts as well.

> 3 dayThis stuff is magic in a bottle. A must have for cleaning up electrical contacts in old cars and pretty much anything else. If I could dip my whole car in it, I would.

Greater than one weekUnfortunately I cannot get the spray version of this where I live. I cleaned up my 45 year old receiver and it plays like new. Music is clean and clear. Very happy with the product.

> 3 dayThis resolved the intermittent glitches between my track and engine wheels - better than anything else I have tried. Locomotive headlights are rock-solid steady as my indicator that its really working and making an amazing difference in overall DCC operation of my model On3 railroad.

> 3 dayI find this the best form factor dispenser for D100. You want to use as little as possible, as thin as possible and this bottle can dispense very small amounts, precisely placed. This bottle should last most techs the rest of their lifetime. The spray can version is cut with solvent, not full strength, and wasteful. CAIG makes lots of other specialty versions: gold, fader, etc. but this is really all you need to prevent oxidization of contacts and connections. Worth the investment. Was sold as Cramolyn Red back in the 70s. Same great stuff.

> 3 dayMost reviews that I read before I made the purchase was from people who used it for electronics. I needed it for cleaning the electrical contacts on the female wiring harness of the computer on my car and I wasnt sure that this product will work for the use that I needed it for. Since the product is on a bit expensive side, I was too hesitant to purchase it. Those wiring harnesses are too narrow for any brush to get in and there was green corrosion inside, which made the computer to throw random error codes, which was driving me nuts. Since many people highly recommend this product, I decided to give it a try and ordered it from Amazon. It took me two tries to get all the corrosion out. I plugged and unplugged the wiring harness to scrap off the corrosion. I also used a copper wire that fits in the female harness to clean it (made some cuts in it to make it feel like a file). Finally, I can say that those terminals are squeaky clean. No error codes (been two weeks) so far. Will keep monitoring it to see if the problems come back. I would recommend this product to anyone with similar issues. Works well!! EDIT: I think I jinxed myself with the above premature conclusion. After all, the electrical problems that I intended to solve with this product came back yesterday. So, I guess, this product didnt quite work for me :( Taking away a star.

> 3 dayThis works very well, but you need to store it upright.

Greater than one weekThe bottle is very small. With the needle end applicator it gets into very tight spots without waste. Have used on several projects and works great. Use for loosening volume control shafts, reduce scratchy or noisy potentiometers. Although it is a great product it is very overpriced. Should be priced at about $12.95.

Greater than one weekI cannot get the needle valve to screw onto the bottle. Pretty much useless without it.

> 3 dayIve had varying degrees of results with this. Didnt work as good on guitar pots as it did on amp pots. I got a used amp with extremely loud scratchy pots, opened it up and squeezed this stuff in them and most of them are almost quiet now. Didnt really help the noisy guitar switches. Very expensive but its enough for hundreds of pots.
