Dr. Ph. Martins Bleedproof White Fine Art Paint, 1 Ounce (Pack of 1)

I suppose I need to get the hang of using this product. It is quite thick as I knew this before I bought it, but I havent quite played with it enough to give an honest review. I do love Dr. Ph Martin the other products I have purchased though!!

This is a great product! Exactly as I have seen it in art stores, came in tact and in bubble rap to protect it from breaking. Not a crack in it. Very happy!

I love this! It really doesnt show color through the white!

At first this was a wonderful product to create white areas or use for a highlighting effect,that is until it dried out. I kept the top tightly closed and maybe used it 7-8 times but on the 9th time it was like a solid brick. I thought why not add some water and see if it comes back? Bad move because it turned spiky, shard like and turned flakey. I added more water and closed it for a few days ,this time it was liquid on top but underneath was still dry. It started out great but didnt last and for $10.00 I wouldnt buy it again !!!

I like how concentrated and thick this is. You get a lot out of it & can make it the right consistency. I wish more inks came like this, instead of the runny ones you have to thicken up.

New dip pen user so trying this ink to mix & letter.

Nice addition to my art supplies. It is very thick so you have to take some out and mix with water to be able to use with watercolors. Do not add water to the jar!!!

I agree with some of the other reviews I have read. This product is very opaque, just work with the consistency. Can be used for highlights or fine white detailed lines in watercolor media & creates effects more difficult to create with white ink or white watercolo. Dr Ph Martin also offers quality calligraphy ink and hydrus watercolors which are also available at Amazon & select art stores. I think illustrators, manga artists, watercolorists would appreciate this product.

This is my first time trying Dr. Ph. Martins Bleedproof white. What I really like about it is the consistency of it. It flows nicely on the paper and it covers over other colors very nicely. Just what I was looking for! Ill be re-ordering as soon as my jar is close to being empty.
