Set up for this couldnt be any easier. Plug it in, drag and drop what you want on it from your computer. Be sure you have an open USB port (you may not if are using a laptop) as the instructions specifically state do not use in a USB hub. Once set up all you have to do is push buttons - easy!

Manche Tasten reagieren je nach Druckpunkt (ober, unter, link, rechte Seite oder Ecken) nicht sehr präzise. Zudem ist jeder Tastendruck akustisch wahrzunehmen, was während einer Aufnahme nicht optimal ist. Ansonsten super verarbeitet, tut das was es soll. Die Erweiterungen (Actions) sind aber rar gesät. Es gibt zwar viel was man mit den von Elgato bereit gestellten Actions machen kann und für spezielle und die wichtigsten Dinge (Teamspeak & Co) ist alles notwendige da, aber ich vermisse doch einfach mehr Möglichkeiten, z. B. das Abspielen einer Playlist etc., da musste ich mir jetzt mit Foobar und den CLI Commands selber helfen (immerhin war das über Umwege dann realisierbar).

First one gave me white horizontal lines, which happened to be a common issue on forums. Elgato support was horrendous, close to non-existent. Returned it and the one I have now works fine. I use it for editing and color grading. Works like a charm.

This device is SO useful for when i am live, i can trigger videos, and SFXs to play, this is well worth the $150 price tag.

This is about the coolest computer accessory you can buy. Totally customizable … really! I dont do video or audio editing, but for someone who uses multiple programs at the same time and needs to call up most used ones all the time, this is great! Should be an option when you order a new computer.
