Elgato Stream Deck MK.2 – Studio Controller, 15 macro keys, trigger actions in apps and software like OBS, Twitch, ​YouTube and more, works with Mac and PC

Ive had this (and the original 15 key version) for 3 and 4 years repectively and they are very good. I have no need of all the media nonsense and mine are used purely as program launchers including assigning frequently used documents to specific keys. I like the customisation of key images though it is quite fiddly to get to work properly. Program enhancements are released quite frequently but after an upgrade a couple of years ago I have found the software closes down without notificaton so you sit there proddng keys that no longer work - restart the software and all is well again. Its a bit of an irritation rather than a major issue but a shame hence not 5 stars throughout. Would I buy this again - yes Im sure I would!!!

I got this to automate OBS and quickly realized I could automate workflow for my Zoom meetings, music production software and photoshop as well. I plan to automate other common key sequences too as saving keystrokes gives a little bit of relief for my arthritis. With music, I can now set up a recording session for voice and guitar and trigger the tracking away from my without switching back and forth from instrument to computer. Its great in that I can concentrate on the performance. I only wish the cable were slightly longer, or detachable.

Better now with the updated software but still has a ways to go. Icons from the desktop should just be Drag and Drop into the software.

If you do anything that could involve this then this stream deck is the best thing you could invest in if you need more keys you can get a x36 key but if your in a budget then this one or the x6 button as you can make folders for certain things as in games or streams

This stream deck is amazing, very easy to set up and used. I have three profiles assigned to it, for gaming, programming, and social media/work. This deck is very customizable from your icon down to the button configurations, You can control OBS, Streamlab OBS, Twitch Studio, Elgato Capture Card, and Elgato Wave 1 & 3 and so much more. I use my stream deck on my Macbook Pro while my partner use her on a windows computer so it can be used on a Mac or Windows.

The box was opened when recieved. Not sure if I was sent a return item or what. The unit works and is in good condition. Was surprised to see that the seals were broken upon arrival. Besides that the unit is great so far. Easy to program. Still a few limitations in programming your own custom macros. Also no way to adjust the speed of how the macro is executed. They run a little slow when you have it run 2+ commands. Wish there was a way to speed up the sequence. I am using this for Audio Production with applications like Pro Tools and Studio One V4.

This item was sold as new but the box was already opened and the item is most likely used.. the Elgato products overall are excellent and I would recommend them but be wary of sellers like this
