Elite Montessori Coin Box with Thicker Coins

Great sensory toy for my 1 1/2 year old niece.

We just received this today and so far its been a hit. My almost two years old easily knows to put the coins in the slot and pull the drawer out but find the dumping of the coins and re-installing the drawer to be a challenge which is great. She enjoys doing the part that comes easily to her and seems engaged and challenged to complete the steps which arent easy yet. We also have a younger friend who is at our house regularly whom I think will enjoy learning to put the coins through the slot. I was super pleased with the strudiness and size of the toy. Id love it if there was an option to buy additional coins. I know I can find other similar things that will work but I like the vibrant blue and the chunkiness of the coins it came with which are easy to grasp for small hands.

I ordered this for my 10-month old son. The finishing of the wood and paint was good; no rough edges and no chipping of paint. I didnt detect any strange smell either (which sometimes happens with certain wooden products). Im happy with this purchase and feel comfortable letting my baby explore it freely. He sometimes puts the chips/discs in his mouth. Theyre quite big so he wont choke on it, but there is potential danger if hes unable to take it out by himself. That hasnt happened so far, so I still consider this product safe for young children.

My girls love this they were 9 months and 2 years when I purchased and now they are 1 year and 26 months still love it are very entertained with it. It teaches the motor skill to turn the wrist and my 1 year old is still using this and is challenged by it. My 2 year old just likes putting coins in lol but it is a great learning toy I would love to fill my home with these kinds of toys vs the light and noise electronics the family gets for them. This toy has kept them entertained longer than any of those toys at a single sitting. I would get it again!

Daughter loves putting the wooden coins in the slot, with or without the drawer in. She chooses this over the light up toys dad gets lol.

This is a great simple toy for my son to play with. Quality of the toy is great. The “coins” are a little small BUT if you sit and watch younger children with it, I don’t think they would choke on the coins.

My granddaughter really loves this!!!

My 15 month old granddaughter does play with this for a while when she is at my house. She likes to drop the coins in. My only complaint is that the corners of the drawers were a little sharp. The outside of the toy has rounded corners, but the drawer itself is sharp on the corners and could cut a little ones skin if they fell on it. I just used some sandpaper and rounded them off.

Lovely box. Nicely done & good quality. The shelf moves easily. The edges are nicely smoothed. Baby who is 10 months old still struggles with getting the coins inside. I wish there were more coins than five ... that is the only downside of this box. This is excellent if you’re trying to follow some of the Montessori principles.
