18-12-2024Im not going to waste one by taking it out of the package...but the reviews are clear that these work well. Thanks to other users who have tested them. They all look alike which makes me think theyre made by the same factory and rebranded. Hope I wont have to use one but its good to have them. Make sure you and your family know where they are and have at least read the instructions. Memory fades in the midst of an emergency!

> 3 dayGreat to have on hand, and you just hope you dont ever have to use it. Really not possible to test this out. I love the concept and feel good having these in the house just in case!

> 3 daySturdy product. I have not actually used in the setting of a large fire but I did try holding a small flame to it. Material is sturdy and, as described, was not ignited by the flame. I highly recommend this item; it is something that should be on hand. Especially if you have little kids.

Greater than one weekA few weeks ago I was driving on the interstate and saw a huge ball of fire on the shoulder. As I got closer I realized it was an RV on fire! The truck pulling it had unhooked the hitched and pulled forward, and the owners were watching it burn. I called 911, and the fire department was already on its way. I could feel the heat of the fire as I drove past. It was really sad! I have often thought that I have little fire protection in my RV-and in my home. I saw an ad on social media for this product, and took the opportunity to do a little search and found this product. I will keep one in my kitchen and one in my RV, and will hope to never use them . . . but will have them should the need arise. I think this just needs to be a staple in every place where famlies gather and cook, for safety as well as peace of mind.

> 3 dayThese blankets are a must have. They are very easy to store for when you need them. You can get the blanket out quickly by pulling the straps. You get two in this set which is a great value.

> 3 dayThis fire blanket is a must have. It comes in a ready to hang bag with easy Velcro opening for emergencies. The instructions with photos are on the front of the bag. The heavy weight blanket can be used to put out a fire on the stove top or it can be used to put out a clothing fire. The storage bag measures 13 x 8 and is about an inch thick so it is easy to store in a laundry room or garage.

> 3 dayI used to keep fire extinguishers around the house, but it was such a pain and expense to keep them serviced and pressurized. Plus does anyone really know how to use them? I never even read the instructions. I like the fire blankets because they take up less space, they require no maintenance, and even kids know how to use them. I keep them anywhere a flame might be-- kitchen of course, outside under the grill, places where candles are lit and by the dryer (they say lint fires can happen). This gives me peace of mind. Get some so you can also have peace of mind.

> 3 dayI gave these ratings based off what I can tell from the product, but have not had a fire emergency yet to actually try this on, and wasnt about to go test it and waste one blanket. These products are supposedly very legit, and work by smothering the oxygen, so I wanted an extra one for the garage and the basement, in lieu of another fire extinguisher. This particular one does appear to have an actual fire safety certification on it as well, so hopefully thats also legit. And hopefully Ill never have to use these, but you can never be too careful with having emergency supplies on hand if the moment comes.

> 3 dayThis is a small blanket but a good size to cover a candle that got out of control or your poor cooking skills! You can hang it in your pantry and then pull the tabs to quickly release the blanket for use. I got the 4 pack and will give 1 to a family member for their kitchen. If the fire is small this seems like a quicker option than a fire extinguisher and potentially less messy. Every home should have a fire suppression device whether it be a fire extinguisher, blanket, etc...its a good investment. As always, if the fire doesnt seem to be contained please call 911/Fire Rescue ASAP!
