We moved into a new house and the furnace was pretty loud. With it being right next to the bedrooms, it made sleeping challenging for several family members. An HVAC guy performed a free inspection, and found that the blower motor bearings were going out. He offered to replace the blower motor and the blower wheel for just under 1k. He said we should also replace the wheel, as it is the likely culprit for the bearings to go bad. Well, instead of forking out a grand.. I spent some time watching videos on how to repair things myself. Lets just say, after saving about 67% for both parts here on Amazon, and about an hour of labor, the furnace is quiet as a whisper... and we can all sleep in peace. The blower motor here was delivered faster than expected and in excellent packaging. If I need another in a few years down the road, will buy again.

This was a little bit difficult to replace. The difficulty was really getting the old motor, not putting the new motor in.

Motor worked great, still working great and at a fraction of the cost. The supply houses that would sell it to me quoted me $900-$1200 without an account for the part. Carrier, the company who makes the handler wouldnt even talk to me. So a week without AC in the summer and I couldnt get any help from the supply houses or the company. Guess which brand I wont be buying anymore.

Part arrived on time and was well packed so it arrived in good condition. I was surprised to find a complete set of installation instructions as well as a new wiring harness. These were not listed in the online description of the item. I am a very handy DIYer and found the instructions easy to follow when comparing their diagrams and directions to my own pictures of the wiring (before I removed anything).

Arrived sooner than expected with all required items in the package. 100% match for the replacement motor. All required materials were in the package. The only difference is that the notches on the housing are for a 4-prong bracket and my old motor had a 3-pronged bracket. I had to align the notches in the mounting bracket as close as possible and follow the instructions booklet to ensure proper mounting. Watch out for this. No other issues with the received package. HVAC tech came and diagnosed problem as the EMC in the blower motor. Quoted $300+ just for the EMC, & $600+ to replace the motor, and then $250 for installation. Ordered Evergreen blower motor for $210, my husband installed it himself, and within 4 minutes, our heat was working just fine. Would definitely order again! Saved us A LOT of money
