EVGA decided not to use standard power supply pin outs for sata connections. So it fries all my LEDs. $70 to repair my stuff because EVGA sucks.

Product does everything I would expect it to do. Unfortunately it has pretty loud coil whine. The fans and the whine are louder than all other fans in my system (I have 7). Im not gunna lie its pretty irritating when I dont have headphones on. It seems to only happen when I play games. e.g While I was playing Destiny 2. Strangely enough the game isnt even that demanding. I just hope it doesnt happen when I play League of Legends.

Does the job very well and take a little space because of its little size vs normal one

Great price for a 850w gold certified psu. All the cables you’d ever need plus more. 4 stars because the eco made makes it sound like a jet engine, so make sure you keep it off!

    Greater than one week

I have used EVGA PSU for the past 5 years: G2 & G3 series. Figures, it was time to upgrade my psu, so i purchased G5 750. First issue was that it arrived with no SATA cables, thats just unacceptable unless it was meant to not have one.

I have read other reviews that indicated issues. What I have found with new power supplies is people dont plug them in and wait to turn on their PC. Capacitors have to charge up and if you turn on a PS before they are they can over charge and pop. There should be protection but why take a chance. Doing this simple procedure has netted me zero issues with all of my PSs. I wait 5 mins before starting my PC. This PS is powering up an MSI MEG Godlike MB, Intel 10th gen i9, RTX 2070 OX, 4th gen pci-e expansion card with 2 m.2 drives, 1 2 TB mech drive, 1 1TB ssd, 1 Castle 360EX AIO and 6 120mm rgb case fans. Plenty of power and some to spare. This combo is OCd to max and no stability issues.

Runs great. Very quiet. High quality wires that bend nicely for easy cable management and all black so they look great in the pc

So as we know in the Tech industry, bad units are inevitable. Unfortunately, this time I was the on the receiving end of a bad unit. However, I have tried many Suppliers for PC Parts over the years.. and have gotten bad units from the likes of MSI, ASUS etc.. so this being my first from EVGA really was no surprise. Plainly put it happens... period, hardware failure can strike at any time no matter the QA that goes into product testing. With all that being said, Ive owned many EVGA products and this was the first to die within warranty period. (1 month after purchase.) Having dealt with many Customer Service agents in the past I was dreading the long ordeal and what not of getting an RMA. I am pleased to say, EVGA has handled this in the most professional manor! My experience was wonderful, and they have earned themselves a lifelong customer! Awesome job, with your RMA process! Great job with training your techs.

The product voltage arrange is 120V.
