Ive been with EVGA for quite a bit now, but this will be my last purchase from the company. I bought the 850w G5 to replace my 650w G2. Install was straight forward, cable quality was nice (Though, not sure why they didnt include a 6 pin VGA cable with their PSUs even though a majority of their cards are 8PIN + 6PIN. Like, they have an 8 pin with detachable 2 pin, but I dont want it just hanging in my case.)

I usually buy platinum level psu but since EVGA 850 P2 wasnt available, I decided to take a chance on this newer EVGA psu that came out a few years ago. Its been quiet. I have read where people said theirs was noisy but I hear nothing from mine. The value of the G5 was cheaper than the P2, (I know this because my previous psu was a P2 650, and I have a P2 650 and P2 850 on my other computers). I custom build my computers. Installation was easy, especially since the 650 P2 cables were compatible with this model. NOTICE: Always verify psu cables will be compatible with each other. If you change brands, then the cables will NOT be compatible. But if it is the same brand, then look up on the brands website to see if they are compatible.

Bought it for building a Intel 10th Gen PC with a 2070Super GPU, M2 drive...etc.

Ordered this to do a build based on multiple recommendations from fellow content creators and gamers. The product so far has performed admirably, powering all my devices without any issues or heat problems. Although it has only been in service a few months, Id recommend it.

Ive got the G6 1000w version. If youre researching about psus, this should be your choice. Ive done the research, and most tech forums list this as the highest quality material psu out there. Obviously time will tell if thats true, since you can always get a bad batch. I dont have proper electrical tools to test its capabilities. Im using my PC as my as testing ground, and so far its great.

i bought this product, excesive coil whine, then i returned the item, welll, amazon chraged me with Restocking fee 40 usd what the hell amazon ffs

This PSU works as expected. No issues at all.

Along with several new parts for my new gaming rig, this PSU fits in perfectly.

Only somewhat knowing how to build a PC, this was easy and way better to replace my old power supply. Couldn’t be happier.
