I dont think Ive ever heard the fan even turn on, even under load.

Great power supply, would’ve went with the platinum but gold is good!

The ECO feature is great if you are sitting in sleep mode. Otherwise evening idling on the desktop the fan profile goes full tilt and is like a mini-helicopter spinning up. While it does the whole power supply thing great, I would give this a hard pass unless you keep your tower in its own room far away from you and anyone else that doesnt enjoy the high speed whirring of a fan at tilt.

Old EVGA 650 PSU lasted over 10 years, still works just not getting 650 watts any more. Im sure this one will also go 10+ years. Zero noise even without using the quiet mode.

Like the title says, I was sent a refurbished unit even though the description clearly states it a New unit. It has also been taken apart as you can see the tamper seal has been broken thus voiding the 10 year warranty that was also advertised in the item description. What a joke.

This is a great PSU. It has solid construction and all the adaptability you would expect from a fully modular PSU. The cables are all black which is nice and are well protected/insulated. I havent noticed any noise from the fan at all. The only knock would probably be that the fan protector appears to be plastic rather than steel which is a bit of an odd choice but there was no impact on my build.

After installing the new PSU it would not turn on at all after checking all the cables were seated properly. I tested again on a fully tested working psu the computer turned on. Attempted to call for support for It and not much of a response from EVGA basically no warranty for it and lost money from it.

Installed works well.
