Whines under load. Ridiculous quality control.

I believed I had an issue with the PSU in my old desktop PC. As it turned out, the issue is elsewhere, so I was not able to boot up the PC to report on anything other than the fact that it is very easy to install.

Got it on sale July 2022. Glad I did. 139.99.

Fan is quite and has an eco mode to save on power when not overclocking CPU. It great being fully modular since you can add the cables you need and disregard the ones you dont. Easy install and has a 10 year warranty cant beat that. This is by far the best power supply hands down in this price range. I highly recommend this product and will buy from EVGA in the future.

Runs a 3080 overcooked with no issues. Its reliable and can power many configurations.

The PSU died after less than 2 years. While it has a 10 year warranty I think the 10 years refers to how long the process takes to request a warranty claim. First I had to sign up for an EVGA account (so my information can be sold?). Then I had to register the product. Then I had to check to see if it is under warranty, which it is. Then I had to submit a support ticket, which asked me for everything but my mothers maiden name and what I ate for breakfast. I cant submit for an RMA until the support ticket is resolved, which will take 2-5 days just to review at which point Im pretty sure theyll ask for more information. Then Ill have to ship it back at my cost, wait for them to inspect it, and then send me a new one (I hope). All the while I have a dead PC, a very unhappy kid, and nearly $1k worth of equipment sitting dead in my sons room.
