> 3 dayPurchased these to test arm draw strength for making bows. Did my own calibration of draw weight (pounds) at draw lengths from 15 to 26 inches and they agree pretty well with the table included in the product instruction brochure. Please keep in mind that these are elastic bands and each lot may vary in tension. Consequently probably will not match the values in the chart precisely. I especially like the range of colors (pink set) which make it easy to visually select the right band tension without having to read the label on the band.

> 3 dayI have bought these before and they work great. I love using bands to work out, they are part of my everyday routine. I had my previous set for about 2 years and the first band broke. These bands do eventually wear out and you need to buy new. All bands do. If you are really nervous about having them break, I would say buy a new set every 1-2 years. It is like a rubber band snapping so it is startling, but I dont see how anyone could really hurt themselves with it (theres not enough resistance that you are hanging from them or anything like that). I felt for the length of time I had them and the frequency that I used them, that 2 years was a reasonable life span. So I would recommend these bands.

> 3 dayAfter using resistance bands in physical therapy, I bought two sets of these - - leaving one set as loops, and cutting the other set to have loose ends. What I like about bands is that you can just pick one up and do a set of exercises while reading, watching TV, etc., and a set weighs next to nothing and takes up little space in luggage. Free weights are not kind to my senior joints. Resistance is the way to go for me when it comes to toning and strengthening. A really easy way to help achy shoulder joints with various exercises.

> 3 dayHaving worked out for years both before and after my over 20 in military, it would have been nice to have these to take on deployments and business trips where workout equipment was limited or non existing. You can get a good arm (bi and tri) as well as shoulder workout with these when equipment is not available. And they pack into bag no larger then your fist to fit in your luggage.
